Using the provisions of the Interactive Gambling Act of 2001, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) can compel domestic Internet service providers to block access to unlicensed online gambling domains.
Last month, 18 such sites are added to the blacklist, making a total of 222 blacklisted domains so far. ACMA first began blocking access to unlicensed iGaming websites in November 2019.
