We'd like to warn everyone about the material limitations in Affidot services that the company does not disclose beforehand and that can result in a poor experience, as it was in our case.
We deposited $3000 and purchased three warmed-up Google Ads accounts from Affidot for advertising purposes for $500 each. As a gift, they gave us two more accounts of the same type. As it turned out later, free accounts are warmed up with the client's funds. The company did not warn us about that, although they claim otherwise now.
Then, they invited us to launch our own campaigns. The first campaigns to our main domain were outright rejected, so we decided to direct them to one of our YouTube videos. Supposedly, they were approved by the bot but, as it turned out later, actually sent for a manual review.
A couple of days later, 4 of the 5 accounts were banned. They claimed warmed-up accounts would help us launch campaigns without any trouble, as these accounts would have a higher trust level. As it turned out, this was not true. The only difference is that these accounts were banned after a few days, not on the first day. The benefits of the Affidot account warming-up service are therefore unclear.
The reason given for the blocking is that the accounts were being used to promote in the US. Subsequently, Affidot notified us that their company policy prohibits promotion in the US, but we had no way of knowing that in advance. This is our principal complaint. We expect that most companies would cite the relevant paragraph from the terms in case of a breach, rather than do it in a personal chat. And there is no such paragraph in Affidot terms, as you can see for yourself by visiting their website. What's more, if we had known about the restrictions, we could have avoided prohibited usage or refrained from their services in the first place. Notably, Affidot did not ask us which niche and which geo we were going to use their services for, even though they knew about the material restrictions. We tried asking them why they didn't warn us, but our questions on this subject have been continuously ignored.
After these events, Affidot agreed to refund $700 of our remaining account balance and $75 due to a miscalculated fee. Since we were unable to use the service due to the omission of crucial Affidot policy clauses, we demand a full refund.
