I would like to know from the biggest affiliates here in the forum if the affiliate systems you are using allow you to see the list of "your" users + details.

hi Casey, yes exactly what I meant.
I use/used different affiliate software (netrefer-incomeaccess-myaffiliates-...the most famous systems) and they don't allow you to have users details.
Is there any casino that allow you this? maybe a casino that uses its own affiliate system....this could be avoid the risk of stolen users (it seems a procedure of some operators, as I read in other topics here in AGD).

What do you think?

I think there is a double point of view: CASINO and AFFILIATE side.
For affiliates I think it is a great way to have the total control of his own traffic (to see stats and info of players + be sure that no players will be stolen by "particular" casino activities)...... but in terms of "Data protection", do you think it could involve penalties for the casino?

Yes, of course, when the player signs up to the casino they don't agree to give their details to the affiliate.

If you want player email addresses I would set up a newsletter subscription also you could tell them to email you for bonus codes etc, Kadabra is right though you will see all player activity info just not their personal info

at the end, I would like to know what do you think if a casino offers this feature to the affiliates (name-surname-email of the end-users under his network).
Considering the legal issue mentioned above by CaseyM (no authorization to share the personal info to the affiliate), should you apply at this affiliate program/system?
In the other hand you have a "database" provided by the casino :)

Really? i can imagine some casino to offer players' usernames, just to give confidence, but emails and full names- that's crazy and probably illegal - unless they clearly state that.

Whether i would sign up - i think i would check it out. hard to resist.
On the other hand - if they allow themselves to do this, I wouldn't trust them much, in general and regarding my personal data as well and expect something to go wrong in the near future.

I have to agree with Kadabra.
Although PERSONALLY I would like to have this information, as I'm sure all other responsible affiliates would, but the opportunity for abuse by those with lesser morals is far too great, and so I think it's better the casinos do NOT pass this info on to anyone else.

we would really like to have the information too. We have thought of setting up Aweber of another email service to gather information but we still feel that with the amount of email spam it would be a waste of time.

..in any case, the website(casino) will be responsible for this NOT authorized info sharing, correct? Could the affiliate have any responsibility to use that info?

Rewards Affiliates for example.
While they don't provide the player's personal details/email (no program does this), RA does provide a reasonably decent break down of each player and their activity.
  • Location, Age range, Sex
  • First Bet/Last Bet
  • Game types played & amount range wagered
They give other data too. All in all I like how RA have this setup. It's far more than most provide, especially give it's an MGS operation.

If you want player information such as emails, names etc, then do as other members have suggested, commence a on-site subscription.

Reiterating the data you seek, you wont get from aff programs or the casinos you promote. It's a Privacy Protection Protocol, no one will supply you this data.

There are certain affiliate programs that give the username. If you search the username on google, sometimes information with email and name etc comes up if the player use the same username on multiple sites. For example if the person commented something on a blog with that username etc. It's not totally common though.
