Hey guys,

How many of you have progressive jackpot tracking links on your sites?

Which affiliates are good for having these progressive jackpot tracking links available by default?

If they are not available by default, how did you go about getting codes? I've been in touch with a couple of affiliate managers but they seem as clueless as myself.

Is there much/any payoff in having these on your sites?

I have been given a web page by one affiliate which supposedly has jackpot trackers but this page is just a list of single lines of code. I haven't a scooby doo what one is supposed to do with them to get anything useful for my site?

Cheers.

Those web pages are typically XML or JSON. You would pull that information into your own page or database. Refresh the page they gave you and it will likely have an updated value. That would be how to get it on your site :)

As far as payoff... not as much as it used to. When nobody had trackers, it was a 'sticky' for a site to have progressive jackpots listed. Now anyone can do it (and many do). So - not as powerful anymore, IMO.

The tickers I used were javascript combined with html which tracked. Either the AM sent them to me or they were in the marketing material. Unfortunately when some programs changed the back-end (to IA for example) they never updated the progressive jackpot tickers.

These days, free games, tickers can be high maintenance and with little return.

Is he talking about the pay load like bovada uses?

A site I made for my buddy, loose-slots.com has progressive jackpot tickers on the right side.. and they look really good IMO, however that is a new/low traffic site so I can't comment on their effectiveness.

I find they increase page load and are un reliable "they hang a lot", plus supposedly google is activating the mobile algo in April so I would want to be 100% compliant..

I've got one on my site, you can grab the code and adjust it to your liking, it's on the sidebar on all of the pages hxxp://slotsmavel .com
