Good luck guys.

You'll need it. Not because you aren't the best, but because going by some of the past winners that are more concerned with lining their own pockets than looking after affiliate or player interests, being the best ain't got a thing to do with it. You think all those affiliate managers who get to vote are going to vote for a site that lists them as predatory or rogue?

Smart affiliates already know that you are just about the only site that puts affiliate concerns ahead of your own. You don't need an award to prove that.

BTW I went and voted for you and all I can do is shake my head once again at the crooks that keep getting nominated for these awards. 888, Affactive, bwin/Party, Euro Partners, Revenue Jet, William Hill / Aff Utd, Winner etc. All shining lights of this industry. Shining lights I tells ya...

Well done AGD :)

Exactly!

If your a "Smart Affiliate" and reading this thread BUT don't actively take part here at AGD, instead support 'other places', ask yourself this question...

Does the affiliate forum I support, support my needs, before their own?

Agree, even though I am not as active on many boards these days, I still pop in to have read and see whats going on and this forum is always my go to.

Voted, it is a shame that some of the programs and affiliate managers I want to vote for are not listed and that there are a few listed that I wouldn't even blink an eye to.

good luck to AGD, i dont do it at all, as i am a low profile person, but i would like to recommend also to vote for Llyod Apter from CasinoCruise who is also nominated. I live in the north of Israel and known Lloyd for many years as one of the most honest guys in the industry. He just deserves it.

That's not very nice CygX1. the man is deceased. RIP Anthony.

I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. I tend to agree with the point CygX1 is making.

It should be embarrassing that a supposedly prestigious industry award is named after a guy who dishonestly promoted affiliate programs for a rogue poker room and casino that he and his partner owned on their website, then lied and tried to cover up the whole thing. CAP was supposedly looking after the interests of affiliates, but instead it was all about their own enrichment. The people involved were and are the very antithesis of those that should be having awards named after them, and to this day the CAP site is worthless to me as an affiliate.

I don't see how talking about that should offend anyone as it is the truth, and the death of one participant should not preclude having a discussion on the topic. The fact that GPWA has received this award is just a double dose of irony considering they have more or less gone down the same path of the money before the mission, despite the sanctimonious stuff spouted at the time that incident happened by its leaders.

Surely there must be someone who has made a far more positive contribution to this industry that is more deserving of having an award in their name? I know its generally slim pickings as the good guys usually fly under the radar, but still. All I can come up with is...

The Tej Kohli award for dedication to customer satisfaction
The TopGame award for professionalism in casino operations
The Affactive award for reliability in payment processing
