Like everyone has been saying, if I had this when I started out, I could've probably avoided the first 1-2 years of "not best website practices" when I started out.

Topic Selection is important to I think - because that is what your site would be about.

I like to find a niche (say video poker or blackjack) in a big topic like casinos - and target that. Try and make that site into "the" resource to do with video poker, blackjack.

I will get back to the recent requests soon.. Right now I am overburdened with new entries into the program I do not want to turn away new affiliates, though, as it is a good business to be in and I believe anyone interested should have the chance at a 'quickstart'.

This is an awesome idea. You know Andy, I really think it's great that you give so much back to affiliates. You do so by watching the programs terms to make sure we know who has predatory terms and who doesn't, etc., and here you go again giving back to the affiliates with this new program. Nice job!

I responded to the PM. The mentor program is VERY full at the moment, for any newcomers.

For the moment, I will close the entry into the program. However- once the majority of the sites are up and running, I will re-open the program once again.
