As most of you likely know, Allan, better known as the Captain, passed away last week.
He is well known to affiliates everywhere, and he was one of the backbones of the affiliate industry in the early days, some 10 years ago.
Cappy always had a smile for you, was the most loyal of friends and freely gave his advice and help.
When he heard of someone in trouble, he was there to help. He started fundraisers for other folks in trouble.
He took it very hard when one of his daughters, Jessica, had a fatal car accident some years ago. After that we didn't see so much of the Captain anymore.
His wife Patty and daughter Melissa are also well known by many. Patty has severe emphesema and is due for a lung transplant.
It would be great if everyone here could donate a bit, whatever you can afford, to Patty. She needs help now, and the best way to carry on the Captain's spirit is to help her. It's our turn now. Let's do it, and let's spread the effort in the industry.
