Recently In December we started partnership with Alpha affiliates,
The deal was on CPA base
With interesting KPI requirements:
"Two parts of KPI:
1 part: redep
counting as (FTD+redeps)/FTD
For example: if you have 10 FTD and 5 redep, it will be (10+5)/10=1,5
2 part: avr dep
counting as sum of deps/ number of deposits
For example: if you have sum of 1000eur from 10 deposits it = 100eur
Germany:
1. 1,9
2. 70"
At first look it seems fine assuming that the 2nd KPI part is calculated to find out average player value (that is what I assumed)
But no, it is the average deposit value.
Here are few examples how it works:
if the one player deposits 50; 50; 50; 50; 50; 50; 50; 50; 50......
average deposit is 50, player value might be in thousands but it newer hits KPI of 70 and conversion does not qualify for CPA
if the one player deposits 20 ; 30; 40; 50; 60; 70; 80; 90; 100; 100; 100
player value is 740 but average deposit is 67.2 and it does not qualify for CPA
Also they count all deposits together for all players, so this might get even more absurd, for example:
1st player deposits 1000
2nd player deposits 500;500
3rd player deposits 100;100;100;100;100;100
4th player deposits 50;50;50;50;50;50;50;50;50;50;50;50;
5th player deposits 30;30;30;30;30;30;30;30;30;30;30;30;
6th player deposits 20;20;20;20;20;20;20;20;20;20;20;20;
7th player deposits 10;10;10;10;10;10;10;10;10;10;10;10;
And you get nothing for all these deposits because average deposit value is 68
Now they refuse to pay my CPA commission of 1050 eur based on this average deposit formula.
Genius KPI or Scam?
