Which affiliate programs had the best and worst conversion rates for you in 2010?

If you use StatsRemote, you can get this info by clicking the "Last Year" tab followed by the "Sales/Unique" column heading.

My lists are below. Note: I decided to include only those programs where I sent at least 1,000 unique hits. Anything less than that, and the data doesn't seem accurate -- the ratios can be skewed significantly by adding or subtracting 1 depositor.

Best converting programs of 2010:

  1. Roxy Affiliates - 1:58
  2. Red Returns - 1:63
  3. Kerching Affiliates - 1:84
  4. Focal Click - 1:99
  5. Rewards Affiliates - 1:120
  6. Fortune Affiliates - 1:121
  7. Brightshare - 1:124
  8. Jackpot Capital - 1:162
  9. Market-Ace - 1:176
  10. Revenue Giants - 1:176

Worst converting programs of 2010:

  1. Tower Affiliates - 1:235
  2. Casino Coins - 1:241
  3. Affiliate Club - 1:257
  4. Affiliate Edge - 1:268
  5. C-Planet - 1:320
  6. Sloto'Cash - 1:336
  7. Mainstreet Affiliates - 1:367
  8. Grande Vegas - 1:370
  9. Lock Casino - 1:406
  10. Gaming Earners (Slot Madness) - 1:629

Observations: Most of the better converting programs don't accept U.S. players, while most of the poor converting programs do. Some of the poor conversion rates can probably be attributed to processing difficulties -- i.e. players would like to deposit, but it isn't always possible.

It's unique clicks divided by the number of new depositors.

Example: 2,500 unique clicks with 20 new depositors would be: 2,500 / 20 = 125. Average conversion rate = 125 clicks per depositor, which is shown as 1:125 in StatsRemote.

Thanks for these stats guys! I was actually thinking of making a thread asking this exact question. I know everyone's traffic will convert differently, but definitely good info!

Wow -- damn, that is bad.

To be fair... The Brightshare one is ALL Free Money players. That is who I was targetting and they convert like crap to real money players everywhere (not just MGS casinos)... at least for my 70% US traffic website.

I don't use Stats Remote or undertake any other form of manual analysis, but I reckon my best and worst softwares for sign-ups (not necessarily depositing players) was:
Best = Rival
Worst = Playtech

I think Playtech is really great software - definitely one of the best, but I have got virtually zero sign-ups at any of their casinos, ever.
Anyone else see the same sort of thing?
More importantly, anyone know WHY?

Bumping this thread since only 3 people shared.

Does anyone else look at conversion rates when deciding who to promote?

If you don't, I'd be interested in hearing why not. Do you think it is important to know how well your traffic is being converted, or do you think it it's a waste of time to figure this out?

IMO, you need to be looking at this constantly if you are serious about maximizing your earnings.

I'll have a look through my reports and post something shortly.

Just out of interest though, when you mention conversion rates do you look at clicks -> RMP's or PMP's -> RMP's?

Thanks Dave,

Ok, here are mine. Take them for what they're worth as the first few months in the year were spent working on rankings and traffic so click volumes aren't quite as high as in the OP.

There's still something to work with though. Top 5 are as follows:

Rushmore - 2.66%
Cherry Red - 1.45%
Go Casino - 1.19%
Box24 - 1.16%
Millionaire Casino -0.79%
English Harbour - 0.24%
Rockbet - 0.16%

Really disappointed with Casino Coins as they had a fair bit of traffic - especially as I've heard so many good things about them.
