Bet365 to move to Malta?

Hi,

Not sure what truth is in this but a lady I knows son works in Malta.

She’s just told me that around 1000 members of staff from Bet365 have been moved into Malta around two weeks ago.

Anyone know why or which department from Bet365 this could be?

Not really surprising. The majority have already jumped ship completely and it's not like there's much tax incentive to keep operations in the UK. I guess there's some kind of moral duty here but opinions will be split on that one.

Had a good conversation with my Bet365 affiliate manager recently, didn't mention that any move was planned. Might be wrong but I'd be suprised if this was the case.

Heard about that plans a few months ago... Good move for the company, not really good for Maltese. Malta is already so crowded...

They have moved people from various departments there mainly customer support. However...there was supposed to be a big move in the next few months which has now been called off/delayed

To be fair all the staff could move in to their new house they are building! It's huge! Drove and had a look at it the other week. Sure it will be amazing when it's finished

It's in Cheshire, about 10 miles from the Stoke HQ. It's a lot colder here than in Malta
