Had another massive win at 32Red last weekend. Albeit not as huge or as substantial as the March/April sessions BUT just as exciting. When the dust settled, I'd won a bit over $165,000US. The wire arrived Tuesday (public holiday on Monday), thought I'd treat myself to a new car!

Take delivery in 2 to 3 weeks :)

Come on - don't leave us guessing!
HOW did you manage to win that?
What game(s)?
How big was your deposit and bets?

It was a small deposit $200, least for me.

Played BDBA down to $50 and thought, I'm screwed, I'll play the remainder on Double Double Bonus Poker @ $1.25 a hand. I got down to $9.25 or something like that and wham the 4OAK (A's with a 3 kicker) dropped in pat, paid $500.

Upped the bet to $25 and five or so hands later 4OAK (4's with a 2 kicker) paid, well that's around $4000. A few hands later 4OAK (A's with a 4 kicker) paid $10,000.

I got up to a tad over $21K.

Changed to BDBA where I played $45 a spin. Not long after (a couple hundred) the free spins hit. 3'rd to last spin, the Wild and 4 cheques dropped. Paid an insane $64K or something. A while after that the blue emerald with a wild kicker hit and that paid $37,500.

Changed to Gorgie Porgie @ $75 (max) a spin and kept getting free spins, that increased the bankroll up a fair bit. Moved to Twin Samurai @ $200 a spin. A few spins later the 5 geisha scatters dropped $20,000 and 10 free spins. That paid out around $30K.

Here's the HUGE feature win on BDBA:

I played a varied assortment of video slots after that.

Edit: I'm sure most people would think I'm crazy making those bet sizes BUT when you get a session like these, seems everything you play wins.

Besides, No Guts No Glory :D

I'm surprised no one has asked - who is your affiliate? :D

Grats man.

Not me, thank goodness!

Wins like this do make you think though, why some programs do have NCO. Some affiliates seem to forget this, and they should remember this can happen and be very thankful that the vast majority of programs don't have this rule.

Thanks for the explanation Bet4You - totally awesome ballsy run! ;)

If a program has no NCO then you can be certain that they are deducting you somewhere else in the process. I would be happier if they were transparent about it.

I don't consider NCO a bad thing in affiliate terms. It actually seems more legit and sustainable compared to a new program that is likely to over extend themselves if a jackpot like the above hits!

Nice win BTW, Bets. Do you play much slots? Are you a big affiliate?

If I had to pick between NCO and a HR policy, I'd go the latter. Least with a BIG win like mine, it only affects one (1) player, not all your players.

You mentioned other deductions, programs who charge affiliates software and licensing fees, is a good example. That's just mental o_O
Using an identical rationale, we should invoice the affiliate programs (who do this) with cost associated to say Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop etc etc.

You wouldn't believe - I barely believe it myself. Cash in comp points, played BDBA @ 22.50 a spin and got the scatters. A few spins in and a Wild with 4 Banknotes dropped in. Paid $46,750 or something close to that :)
