Sorry to hear this chaps... but investing in anything 'other' than your own domain, runs the risk of losing it at the drop-of-a-hat.
My horse picks site was just that, horse picks with 2 or 3 banners, 180-250 hit on the weekends - the real problem it it's a robot that does the 'banning' and then you have to wait for it to be look at by a ' Guman'
Interesting as Horse Racing has a long protected history in legislation and online gambling on it is legal in most countries - even places like United States, Hong Kong and Singapore that are anti SPORTS gambling.I have (had) a horse tips blog - 5 years old - just took it down today just before breeders cup
Why do you ean by "disappear"? I din`t understand how it can disappear.. You mean from the SERP? or you mean the whole channel can be removed? This is the big downside of not owning your site. Services like blogger, youtube and facebook can help get you traffic but they can disappear at any time.
this is a special area that is legal nearly everywhere.
Just to gain a few backlinks from an SEO perspective.. Its a more disposable site (less effort).. So you will be getting a link from a site outside your network of sites...Are there any advantages what so ever with using them instead of just having your own domain and site?
