A heads up, I received an email to my domainsbyproxy email. It looked authentic but I did not open the attached *zip. Instead deleted the email.

I saw something very similar recently. Thanks for the headsup!

I got the FedEx one a couple weeks ago, haven't seen it since. I also get the Paypal one occasionally.
There is another one I keep getting. I never opened it but a portion of the conversation is displayed next to the subject line (if the subject line is not too long). All I saw in the conversation snippet displayed was something about savings or checking. Cause enough to simple delete it.

I get a few others all the time too.
  1. A court notice to appear in San Francisco regarding a tenancy dispute - attached is Court_Doc.zip (or similar).
  2. Email to voice message - another zip file.
  3. Westpac, CommBank and ANZ saying my account has been suspended for exceeding withdrawal limit - link to a bogus login screen. (lol no account at these banks).
They'll start coming in thick and fast with Festive Season on our door step, please be on high alter ;)
