Casumo and LeoVegas accused of encouraging a problem gambler

Casumo and LeoVegas are acused for allegedly ignoring the case of a 42-year-old woman who lost hundreds of thousands on their sites.

The Guardian reports the anonymous woman, formerly a successful accountant, started playing on Casumo, and evidence seen by the outlet clearly shows she had symptoms of problem gambling.

Apparently ignoring that behavior, Casumo gave her VIP status, offered her tickets to events, and allowed her to lose thousands. Her account was finally closed hours after she revealed her suicidal thoughts.

This is so odd. I can go to the land based and burn 100k and no one will ask a question, or go on a shopping spree overspending. Why should this be the responsibility of the online operators in particular?

SOW and stuff. If somebody burns 150k in a week, 1 out of 99.999 is a rich oil tycoon or something, but more likely it's something else.

Land-based it's no problem at all to burn stolen money, even in state-owned properties.
