Due to current events and following the publication of guidance issued by our various regulators, we have taken the decision to cease all activity with individuals and businesses based in or having a presence in Russia.
Effective immediately, your affiliate account with be closed and any future commission forfeited; as per clause 6.2 in our Terms and Conditions (https://www.casumoaffiliates.com/terms.html)

Casumo may refuse any applicant for the Affiliate Programme and/or may suspend or close down any Affiliate account if, in the sole and final opinion of Casumo, such action is necessary to comply with Casumo's internal policies and/or applicable laws and regulations and/or to protect the interests of Casumo.

Should you dispute this decision, we ask you to send in proof of business ownership, proof of address and identity, and we will revert after due diligence checks.


I can understood if they ban players or traffic from russia, but they ban all affilliates accounts of russian, who even never work with ru traffic or living there... what and assholes

At this point, sanctioning Putin and Russia is our most effective weapon unless we want to start WW3. It sucks for everyone who doesn't want this war, but your responsibility now as a Russian is to get rid of Putin. War is war, it's an extremely serious thing. Your affiliate account will be the least of your problems if we do not make sure the war doesn't spread.

It has to go much further, in particular germany needs to stop buying crude oil and gas from russia in order not to continue co-financing this war indirectly.

But going back to statement from OP regarding Casumo. That's what i exactly wanted to say in another thread. You can show your solidarity with Ukraine but in case of Casumo i want agree with TTR. They can block traffic or put in on ice. But the decision to suspend affiliates from russia completely i find really hard. That won't ensure to stop the war.

But how Danniee already said, this is least of the problem.

We can't condemn all russians, although there are also some living here in Germany who are demonstrating for Putin.

But we have also enough russian people living here in germany who are clearly opposed to the war and condemn it. They support the humanitarian aid.

My opinion is that one should expel all Russians equal where living who are publicly pro-Putin, although they have all informations and can see what happend.

Same goes here! I am not living in russia since 2016, have nothing to do with them. I am an Israeli. But I have not changed the info in the system since I registered and it still shows my russian info.
Looks like those bastards just jumped on the opportunity to steal money from the affiliates because they had a chance to do that.

Sanctions are a much better first option than attacking Russia and potentially dragging the world into war. Sanctions have to be imposed on ALL fronts for it to be effective! We cannot allow a single penny to go to Russia at this point. Simple as that.

These sanction against Russian affiliates is also recommended by the UKGC. This is a full-blown war between Russia and the whole democratic world. I'm sure everyone agrees the world should have done the same thing against Hitler and Nazi Germany back in the day. Absolutely no difference in this case. Russians can't hide behind a single person and wash their hands clean of all responsibility.

I lose Russian players and commission too, but I'm not going to cry about it. This is a much more serious thing than affiliation. People are dying in the streets, Russia is bombing hospitals and killing innocent people, civilians are fleeing in the millions to Poland and the rest of Europe. Not only that, Russia has annexed parts of Ukraine already as well as Georgia whilst posing a serious direct threat to the sovereignty of Moldavia and even the Baltic states. Not only that, the casino industry is full of Ukrainian people who worry about their loved ones, about their mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters living in Ukraine!

And you sit here whining about your affiliate account? I don't hear you whine about Putin or your fellow Russians who have made this possible through their silent approval. It should 100% be the Russian's responsibility to remove Putin from power, even if it means sacrifices. It is not the responsibility of the Ukrainian people. They should NOT have to die because the Russians have enabled a corrupt scumbag to lead their way.

It's disgusting and ridiculous to talk about it being "unfair" when women and children are being killed as the Russian army is annihilating Ukraine. Wtf!

Firt of all - i am half Ukrainian, second - a lot of ppl Ukraine and Russia is mixed and everybody have a lot of friends inside both countries. Actually it's more like one country, than separate.

It's looks like CIVIL war, not like between contries and most of ppl dont understand this!

Europe and USA trying to show Ukraine like a completely separate and sovereign country, but it's not!

1. Be dependent on Russia
2. Join EU and NATO

Second scenario was meaning and guaranteed a WAR against Russia with no except. (Ofc if Putin still a president)

If Ukraine win this war - it can join to EU and NATO, if Ukraine lost - Nato and EU say sorry, mb next time

USA going to make just more money on selling weapons and sellings oil and gas no EU, due to crazy prices on the GAS. CHINA actually will also have a benefits to buy some % in Russians companies like GAZPROM or Rosneft.


I am not fan on Putin and hate him, also don't like politcal situation in Russia, cuz it's choosed and military way, actually this why i left Russia 9 years ago....

I think people who don't understand Russian or Ukrainian haven't got much clue on the true situation. And if I was an admin here I would forbid any discussion of politics, religion, race and culture. They, I guess are creating hate among the forum users. All members here are from different countries and belong to different cultures, and speak different languages, therefore it's plain stupid to tell one their political views and try to prove something. If anyone wants to continue on this war subject, I can provide them with Ukrainian and Russian Telegram channels where they can discuss and plan various things all day long.

I'm not Russian, by the way, but Casumo are a bunch of dirty bastards. Not only because they decided to close their affiliate accounts but also because one of their managers shared my email address with a manager of some shady casino.

Banning discussions based on politics, religion, race, and culture only makes matters worse. It's good to hear other people's views, even if you don't agree with them. These types of discussions may even make somebody change their standpoint for the better. If you disagree, then post your view.

If somebody attacks and insults other members, then ban that member.

Such a wrong point of view of a typical russian, thinking that Ukrainians are same as them.. There is a huge gap in mindset between two nations. Russia is a state of slaves where Tsar for 20 years does to his slaves whatever he wants, punishes them, tortures and kills if he wants without any consequences for himself! Ukraine is a totally different state of free people, who will fight for their votes and rights, and die if needed.

Moreover there was NEVER a civil war in Ukraine. Russia is willing there was one, doing everything it can with their fifth column in Ukraine but it has no success. Ukraine is an absolutely single and united country!

Why guaranteed war!? Killing women and children because Ukraine wants democracy and freedom? Ukraine is a free sovereign nation, it should be free to join whatever pact it wants. And why on earth is Russia threatening to invade Sweden and Finland too if they join NATO? So Sweden has no free will either? It should all be decided by the mad clown Putin? F**k that.

Sanctioning Russia this heavily on ALL fronts is the best thing we can do at this point. I can bet you everything that it's super effective and a MUCH better alternative than sending young men and women do die whilst also dragging the world into WW3. If that means Russian affiliate accounts need to take a hit to prevent Euros from flowing into Russia, then so be it.
