Chance Affiliates have become affiliate-friendly with an excellent move to remove their inactive affiliate clause. This was a request by the AGD Certification team and was met with quick-change to show their commitment to affiliates

TERMS REMOVAL, INACTIVE AFFILIATE RULE

6.10 Chanceroom reserves the right to set limits for a minimum level of activity on affiliate accounts. Such minimum activity levels will be continuously reviewed and Chanceroom reserves the right to terminate any agreement not reaching the limit. Such limit shall not be unreasonably high and basically reflect the intention of avoiding accounts where the revenue does not cover our internal costs for maintaining the account and the payout procedure.

6.11 For the sake of clarity the parties specifically agree that upon termination of this Agreement by either party, the Affiliate shall no longer be entitled to receive any payment whatsoever from Chanceroom.

TERMS UPDATE, NEGATIVE CARRYOVER, CLARIFICATION

6.11 Revenues for Casino and Sportsbook do not include the negative carry over and is reset to zero at the beginning of every calendar month. The Revenues for Poker, does include a negative carry over. None of the above revenues are bundled together.

Summary:A big thank you to Chance Affiliates who worked with us immediately to correct all terms issues.

Why the neg carry over on poker?

6.11 Revenues for Casino and Sportsbook do not include the negative carry over and is reset to zero at the beginning of every calendar month. The Revenues for Poker, does include a negative carry over. None of the above revenues are bundled together.

I'm confused as to why Chance would leave in the negative carry over on poker but remove it from casino earnings. As a rule, the only negative from poker is a result of chargebacks or fraud. I would think that there would be very few instances where this clause would come into play.

What bothers me most though is that poker is being singled out in this case. As a poker affiliate (exclusively), I will have to pass. No sense being the poor cousin to the casino affiliates.

I think they've done a great job, overall, getting their terms in line. But I can understand that you might not like negative carryover :) If you post that question in their forum, they will get a notification of that post and are required to respond in a reasonable amount of time.

I'm sure they can clear up why Poker was singled out. And, I agree with you, there aren't many ways (outside of fraud, which is already covered in the terms) that Poker players can have a negative.
