Hey everyone,

I've just had a promo video put together for my Casino Complaints section -

What do you think? Could it be improved? How could we improve it? What's the best way to use this type of marketing device?

Thanks all.

I think there are a few factors here...

1. Great site idea and structure!
2. I still don't know what POGG stands for
3. The video is SLOW... like molasses on a cold sunday night in New Hampshire. I finished it because I want to help, otherwise I would have bounced.
4. Only the very top ranking youtube videos create a direct conversion, of course the should be part of your
funnel if possible, but I would use this as SEO work by putting my link in the Vid's description and writing a mini-article to put as its description too. Youtube as high PR and even if people don't resonate with the Vid, it will boost your rankings -=D

I like how the video is laid out and displayed, and the video its self looks great, but I am with MC.. It was to long to finish... A little before half way through I got the point of what you do and didn't want to finish the rest...

That's my opinion, but the video itself is much better then anything I've made.

For me, it wasn't sluggish at all. As a marketing device, though, I don't have any particularly unique ideas. On YouTube itself, I'd use it as a 'response to' certain videos. If you can find videos where people (yes, real actual gambling people) are complaining about a particular venue or site, then suggest it as a 'response to'. Obviously, the owner of the original video has the final say over whether your video gets included, but that may work well.

Outside of YouTube...you could try run of network CPV ads with your video as part of the landing page. Or you could target the dodgiest online casinos and you might do well.

That's about it from tryme1's bright idea factory!

Hi everyone - thanks very much for all of your feedback. Sorry it's taken me a few days to respond, I'm preparing for my wedding this weekend so this week's been a bit crazy!!

Some very good points been made here! MC - when you say the video was slow, do you mean it took longer than the 1min 45 to play or that you found the pace of the video within the time too slow? If it was running slow I'm really not sure that the issue there could be. I've tried it on a couple of computers and not had any issues.

As to the text issues - I think you're all right, I'll need to grab some time and write up something a little more lengthy and details to go in the description section. It's a shame to waste the potential of a quality promotional tool by not putting in a little more effort.
