Do you use cross-selling on your sites?
If so, on what line e.g. bookmakers > casino, or other configurations.
Does it work for you?
I'll be honest, I was planning to add a section (small) with another niche to my site. The site is about bookmakers and I wanted to add some casino content. However, over the past few months I have tried to additionally promote heavily a different type of bookmakers than the ones the target theme is about. With zero results. And if cross-selling on the line Bookmakers A(main topic) > Bookmakers B (cross-selling, slightly different type of bookmaker) doesn't work in any way, then I assume that presenting casino content doesn't make sense, but I don't rule it out.
I've seen some old threads and opinions were divided, with some people in favor of site consistency and not adding related forms of gambling from outside the main thread. Others tented it and achieved some limited results with a certain % of cross-selling. I look forward to your opinions and your own experiences on this interesting topic.
