Hi Everyone,

I recently received a personal email from David Dent davidATmainstaffiliates.com pretending he is the head of marketing at mainstreetaffiliates.com
You can see the email is not from mainstreetaffiliates.com.

I made this post so all my gambling fellows are informed.
Hope it saves you some time.

P.S. I replaced the @ with AT

Hello everyone,

I apologize in advance for the misunderstanding, however David is working with me at Main Street.
I'm not sure why the email was construed as a fake however it is from David and it is legitimate.

Thanks!

Correct me if im wrong but I think it was construed as fake because the email was from:
@mainstaffiliates
Not
@mainstreetaffiliates

Is mainstaffiliates one of your domains as well?

Your conducting business therefore you should act that way.
The email was done in a way to hide its sending IP, from a domain that is parked and has nothing to do with your company name.
If the domain is part of your company and business negotiations then show this (link to it publicly) on your main page at mainstreetaffiliates.com

One question Pete: is David Dent the head of marketing at mainstreetaffiliates.com?

Hello everyone,
The email is one of a couple of emails that we use for the program and have for some time.
David is the head of marketing.

I understand the concern of some affiliates, because their are a lot of scammers via e-mail these days,
but I've encountered several affiliate programs that tend to use e-mails that aren't the actual domain.
Even Referback tends to use @referbackaffiliates.com even when the affiliate program is referback.com
