I know this is old news but I'm revisiting it again.

When trying to log in to my fb accounts I get the message that I need to migrate to a Business Manager account in order to update pages. Has anyone seem this message before?

Of course the only way I see to set up a Business Manager account is have a personal fb account which I would not like to have as I have absolute zero trust when it comes to fb and my personal info. Perhaps I'm being paranoid but I'm not one to simply spread my digital footprint around the internet recklessly.

If you don't want to take part in the social network why would you think that you can update social network pages ?

I'd do the basic minimum and create a stub of an account. No-one says that you have to update the personal account at all - or even fill it full of accurate information.
There are millions of inaccurate / out of date / spammer accounts on facebook set up for a multitude of reasons and including those social network link / like campaigns.

That way you can get what you want with a minimum of fuss or bother.

Yeah G,

I thinking that as well, populate as least as possible. The problem is I have another fb page for my other business and try and keep that business separate from the gaming industry. A personal profile/page ties the two fb business pages together.

This change is something FB came out with last year, with Feb 16th 2015 being the deadline. Before that I could update both face book pages without any problems.

Could all be much to do about nothing, but I like to find out before hand rather than after.

Use a bogus name and photo. Not like 90% of G+ profiles were legit pics/names
