Hello all – long time lurker first time poster.

I have noticed an ever increasing amount of possibly fake affiliate sites, are casino programs now wanting to be affiliates too at the same time. The ones I have noticed the most either promote Referback, Brightshare & Wagershare casinos or a combo of brands. I suppose they must save some bucks by not paying Google for adwords plus all the players they take away from real affiliates is another win for them.

EG - What’s the chances of a REAL affiliate promoting casinos from just one program like this site http://onlinepokiesreview.com/ Referback in disguise maybe? what does everyone think about these (possibly) fake affiliate review sites, if fake fair play or not?

I have a couple of websites promoting just one affiliate program so nothing strange for me.

The trick is to be so good that they'd rather pay you than do it themselves.

I'm sure it's been happening for a long time, but the example you used definitely isn't one of them.

I've known that guy for years, he just recently started and that is his first casino related website. I referred him to Referback as my top choice, so that's who he's starting with.

As for programs running their own affiliate sites, I've suspected a few, and they seem to spend a ton on SEO/links, so I'm not sure how much money they are actually saving...

Ok thanks bad example i used, just seemed like a really good site for someone to promote for 1 group & no others.

I'm sure that many affiliate programs have their own portal sites, and have a good idea of where to buy quality traffic just by keeping an eye on some of the traffic sources that the affiliates are using.

Thank you for the compliment :) Rest assured, we are not exclusively promoting Referback, nor do we have any official relationship with them as anything other than a regular affiliate partnership.

As Perc said we're relatively new and decided to start with RB. We'll be adding some Playtech casino and games reviews soon enough

On a sidenote; first post, hi everyone o/
