Update Dutch Remote Gambling Bill
On the 19th February the Dutch government agreed on the Dutch remote gambling bill. Whilst this news is a welcome step forward for the Dutch online gambling industry as a whole, it is likely to take another 2 years (beginning 2021) before we can hopefully obtain a license and enter a regulated Dutch market.
The coming 2 years will be considered a ‘cool down’ period for companies to ‘prove’ their trustworthiness in order to obtain a license. During this period, we still cannot actively target the Dutch market.
The reason for this extra ‘cool down’ period (after adhering to the various priority criteria in the last couple of years) is debatable. What we do know, however, is that it will provide a huge challenge for medium sized operators like us.
Revenue Share commission
We have therefore taken the decision to reduce the standard revenue share commission to 10%, taking effect on the 1st April for all NL affiliates.
We absolutely understand that this may not be a popular decision, but we have to make sure to remain a going concern, by keeping your registered players playing and ultimately still paying you a revenue share.
We therefore hope you understand that this decision is made in our mutual interest, your registered players base with us and the long-term survival of the company.
We will go back to the default commission table when the NL market opens up, once we have obtained a license and we can start marketing in partnership with you and actively target Dutch players again.
Future proof
In the meantime we are working hard to make the company future proof and ready for a regulated Dutch market. All our bingo and casino websites will be revamped. The first thing, however, will be the introduction of our new affiliate program.
New Affiliate Program: Gogame Partners
As of April 1st we will be launching our new affiliate program - GogamePartners.com, powered by Income Access. Gogame Partners will now house our bingo and casino brands subsequently replacing both BingocamsPartners and FruitkingsPartners.
From April 1st you will need to log into GogamePartners.com to check your statistics and payments. You can login with the same login details you use to access BingocamsPartners. **
Please make sure to check whether your account and banking details for all your affiliate accounts in Gogame Partners are up-to-date, from the 1st of April. Please contact us if you are missing anything.
There is no need to change your tracking links because at this point nothing changes in the Dutch market, we still don’t accept NL players and our signup pages have an IP block for NL visitors.
BingocamsPartners will remain live so that you can refer to your old statistics and invoices. It will remain accessible for a minimum of 3 months from April 1st.
A separate email regarding the launch of Gogame Partners will be sent closer to the launch date.
* Inactive accounts and revenueless accounts are not imported in Gogame Partners.
