Someone on GPWA received it, reached out to someone in the affiliate department and it was quickly written off as being sent to them in error.

For those who have received this notice, did they ask (earlier in the month) for your corporate information and if you had a signed agreement with them? If they asked, did you provide them the info they requested?

So to confirm, you did receive a closing your account email but you did not receive a request for company information/signed agreement - is that correct?

Oh yeah - I forgot about that!
I got that mail, but not the latest one.
Don't care either way - they are heading for the exit very soon...

I emailed them back as also got from Gala Affiliates. Dont really promote or spend my time on them anymore. But Coral does earn me small amounts sometimes. I emalied them back saying what this is all about. What about life time Revenue etc. And would be nice give me a better deal and i will promote them again.

I got back a nice deal 90% revenue and no negative carry over. They also promise I will get a nice sports car which my affiliate manager will wash every week as long i get them 37,648 new depositors every month. I think that sounds like a good deal so i accepted and said thank you.

We've currently got an email out to our affiliate manager and the head of affiliates at Coral. We did not receive a closing announcement, but there is still reason for concern based on what I am seeing in the account.

Got the same email. Now they are offering us to open a new account, but the old one will be closed. However, we have been earning decent amounts of rev share commissions through our "old account" so it's really annoying. Of course, we won't open a new account with them, but seems it won't help to get the old account re-enabled. Is there a way to punish these crooks?

Yes... Reiterating (as 1'st stated when Grand Prive` shafted affiliates), take the bastards court, with a class action.

To date no group of affiliates have rallied together, to take this type of action. Hence, programs continue to pull this crap.

It would only take a single (1) class action, for the rest to sit-up-and-take-notice.

As long as wayward programs think they can get away with reneging on their own T&C's (breaching others), and subsquently treating affiliates badly, they will continuew to do so. To the point where affiliates have nothing left to fight for ;)

As a side note - AFAIK, a few years back Ladbrokes closes ALL USA affiliate accounts. That should have been, a fair enough warning, not to trust these crooks. Now history is repeating itself at Gala et al.

Edit:
To the best of my knowledge other affiliates, in other markets, don't get served this HorseSh#t. Seems the reason they don't, is because programs know if they did, they'd have a mass riot on their hands. For some bizarre reason though, gambling affiliates (besides posting to forums about it), they roll over, pull their pants down, and cop it sweet!

Ladbrokes did screw the US based affiliates by closing their accounts - citing they did not wish to be involved with paying anyone in the US, as doing so "may" put their operations in the US at risk. They do not have such an excuse to do this now, not that I bought their reasoning for the US closures.

The talk that I am hearing is that most of the affiliates who received this recent "closure email" has received it in error. The closure email was citing that it was targeting affiliates who "did not send a referral in the last twelve months" and from the sounds of it, most of the affiliates who received this email had in fact sent referred players over the last twelve months.

Prior to the closure emails, the affiliate managers sent out an "introductory" type of email- introducing themselves and asking for affiliates to please send corporate info and to send any signed agreements between Gala/Coral/Lads and the affiliate's company to them. Most of the AM's - immediately after the request, went on their annual leave. I believe what they meant to say was "we need a signed agreement for all brands you promote" rather than "if you have... then please send".

Also noticed that commissions are "zero'd out". This took place sometime over the weekend. The claim is that this was an error and will be fixed by tomorrow.

With all the above said, I believe (for a limited time only) that someone is "pushing buttons" and breaking shit. I also believe that clear communications and timing is not a strong point within the affiliate department. I also believe that the ship will be righted and stats will return and that deals that were in place will remain in place.

Now, I am not willing to believe this for an indefinite amount of time. I can personally say that if my company's affiliate accounts are closed or if we're forced to take on terms retroactive to impact our earnings on players that were referred - I will be testing the waters of the court system. The terms and conditions all state the venue is UK court and I'd be more than happy to work that route. Additionally, I'd encourage anyone who falls into this category to do the same.
