Gala Partners - New T&C's

Gala Partners sent an email that they are rolling out new terms and conditions. It hasn't happened yet, but when it does we will inform everyone. They go into effect on May 1, 2016.

I doubt they will be favorable to affiliates - but I hope to be surprised.

I wonder who makes these business decisions? There are new casinos being released by the day.. in the last 12 months new kings have appeared and they trump the older ex trusted sites ... some new marketing manager trying to hit his Kpi's "Key performance indicators" and decides to chop at the ones that brought in all the players, the good news is with all this butchering there is also new breeds of casinos happy to work a fair deal, until they get too big.. but now working with and old trusted site is like being married .. a large percentage end in divorce.

Gala-Coral and Ladbrokes recently merged - just saying.

Obviously affiliates can expect Gala Partners to be trusted on the same level as the Ladbrokes Partners affiliate program from now. If Gala implement a 60-day inactivity clause from day one it is already a very clear step towards this direction.

Inactive <del>Revenue Share</del> Affiliates. We reserve the right to reduce your Referral Commission to the default Commission Plan if you are inactive <ins>(ie do not refer a new Player)</ins> for a period of 60 consecutive days. We also reserve the right to reduce your Referral Commission to 10% of Net Revenue for the remainder of <del>the Term.? This term applies to all new affiliates registering with</del> the <del>Affiliate Programme with us after the 1st June 2013</del><ins>Term</ins>.

In other words, the quota with the 10% penalty rate is now in effect for ALL affiliates retroactively, not just those that signed up after June 1, 2013.

Another rogue move by an already-rogued program.
