Seeing they are actively closing accounts. Anyone not been closed? I have a small account with them that they shut and it should provide no compliance issues but thought this section says it all

"If you believe that your marketing activity is compliant with the latest legislation, then we may consider a new application to join our Affiliate Programme outlining your approach to marketing alongside a commercial proposal providing the estimated scale of the activity you would run"

to me that says we are just using compliance as an excuse and just want to steal your players

My account is closed. As they were rogued at my website, there's no way my marketing activities were non-compliant.

Thankfully not promoting these scammers, nor will I ever. In fact, I will put all their current aff managers on my personal blacklist to remind myself never to deal with them.

Why are they closing accounts? Any specific reasons given?

Our account is still open, but we don't have anything to do with bonuses. I wonder if outdated bonus info or lack of T&C terms and T&C links has anything to do with the closures.

it seems everyone has had a general email not giving real reasons. I'd double check your emails if I was you pal. can't be compliance either, I got passed bet365 and they are tough

There seem to be a couple of different email version going around - some (as in the OP) mention lack of revenue/sign ups but others (like the one we got) just talk about a change in the regulatory market.

They don't say we've done anything wrong specifically, just that they're shutting up shop.

There's some interesting wording in it too saying:

"If you believe that your marketing activity is compliant with the latest legislation, then we may consider a new application to join our Affiliate Programme outlining your approach to marketing alongside a commercial proposal providing the estimated scale of the activity you would run."

Ie: tough titties, this account is being closed regardless. If you want to keep working with us you need to sign up again.

Ha ha, yeah sorry - when I said OP I meant OP of the thread on GPWA not you. That one said it was due to lack of revenue.

Consequently, whilst we appreciate the efforts of all of our affiliates, we will now continue working only with a reduced number of affiliates who we are confident will be able to comply with the applicable regulations.

At this time, we have taken the decision to terminate your account and hereby serve notice in accordance with clause 13.3 of our Terms and Conditions, effective from 30th October 2018. Any unpaid amounts that remain due to you will be made by 15th November 2018, provided that you have updated your payment details on your Gamesys Affiliates Account by 29th October 2018.

"Compliance" is the new excuse to steal affiliate earnings. Yes, you need to comply with regulations set forth by
the regulators, but some of the affiliate programs are just using it as an excuse to take away your players.

Certainly seems that it's being used as an excuse by operator's to screw affiliates over

I tried logging in just today and the notice I got was 'too many sign-ins so your account is locked'. Thing is, I haven't signed on in at least 2 years and I doubt anyone tried to hack my account. I am now getting back into the business after a long pause.

Apropos, I got the same notices for several of my affiliate programs (no they weren't making money when I was forced to take a break at the time). I had also taken down my website. Those that have denied me log-ins are all based on the same affiliate program software I think. Underneath Game Sys is: 'Income Access, a Paysafe company'. I also could not access Income Access. Most of these programs I was always able to access during my time away, update my address and so forth.

I am amazed to see how many affiliate programs that have just died or gone entirely rogue. It's a time consuming job going through my entire list. I'm kind of glad, that will keep me focused on a much smaller group of affiliate programs which I'll actually much prefer.
