Hi Everyone,

I got a mail today asking for exposure on my sites from Miles at Slot Madness today. After looking over the program and noticing search results, I saw a term that would be negative for affiliates. Just in case you are promoting them. Miles is a friend of many here and perhaps the Dog can work it out with them?

"If no new depositing players are referred to our Clients by the Advertiser
in a rolling 3 month period the Advertiser Commission Percentage will drop
to 15% until such time as a new depositing player is referred. Once a new
depositing player is referred the standard commission structure will come
back into force."

Hope you all have agreat week!

We have been debating this type of term for a few months now and actually decide that it really can't be called predatory especially if they have it in the terms right off the bat. I will go review the terms and highly suggest to Miles that to benefit his company it is in their best interest to remove that!

Thanks Christine!

I did write Miles and let him know that its the main reason I won't use them at this time. I undesrstand that it can't be called predatory because they spelled it out pretty clear from the start. I just hate to see lifetime earnings be cut by 10-20% by any program. Perhaps a setup fee or media buy is the way to go for me on this one, we'll see.

Hey Pat,

I haven't used them yet but maybe down the road. Accepting US players is a good start. They also seem to be willing to setup promos to help affiliates, always good.

I was happy to see Miles at a new home too!

Let's clarify that thought.....

We did not quite agree that the term mentioned above is not predatory. And, in fact, we would agree (I am quite sure) that this term IS predatory at Gaming Earners (Slot Madness Affiliate Program).

What they are doing is dropping the rate below their published base rate.

This is wrong, IMO. We had discussed that before and agreed that dropping below the published rate is predatory. We had that contention with Uffiliates long ago and required change prior to certification.

Thanks guys,

I received another mail from Miles. Looks like they will be dropping that part of the terms shortly.

"We will have this removed. Currently we are experiencing a slight issue with removing the actual text from our Terms but I'll do that asap. "

Good job Miles and CO.

Phoenix has risen form the ashes.

Hi Everyone,

Yes its True I am Back again.

The phoenix has risen form the ashes.

Just wanted to Say Hi to all of you great folks and cant wait to do business with you all again...

I have taken over the management of the program and am busy reviewing everything.

I was not aware of that Term until recently otherwise it would have been removed Long time ago.

Thanks to Joe,Big Dog and Vixen for pointing it out.

Your all 100% its absurd and not very friendly.

I have spoken to management and because of their willingness to please and open mindedness they have agreed its GONE.

We have removed it and it no longer applies...:D

Look forward to seeing all of you promoting us soon.

Take Care

Miles

Welcome Back Miles!

I hope and pray everything works out fabulously for you at your new place of employment, and if they are smart enough to hire you, maybe they will be smart enough to listen to your opinions and experience on what works and what doesn't!

Cheers, and once again very glad to see you.
