GnG - will delay future payments if I don't co-operate

Hi all,

TLDR: GnG threatened to delay future payment of commission, if I didn't co-operate and list their new brand. WTF.

Normally what happens in my world, the account balance gradually grows over several months to an amount that can be withdrawn. Knowing this, I look at the aff account occasionally.

In this case, I had over 1 years worth of commission accumulating that could finally be withdrawn.

I kindly ask for payment, which was subsequently paid in full. All good up to this stage.

GnG then asks me to list one of their new brands - BlueLeo.

Below is dialogue in verbatim:

1) Me - "Yep. Would be good to get a testimonial. I can see them listed on the GnG site. If you can give me a testimonial, then I'll list Blueleo".
2) GnG: "Hahaha - this game is not something i like to play....."
3) Me: "no problems, let's just leave it at that"
4) GnG: "In case you can leave with that OK - just bear in mind that next time after few months of silence from your side i will NOT pay you year and half in one shot"

What the heck? I have never come across this before in my short time in the industry.

Is this behaviour common?

nope, not for an advance payment. Basically threatening to withhold future payments.

The rest of convo in summary, was I apologised if he took offense (I was being polite, because i was in a bit of shock).

In hindsight, I should have told him to just "beep" off.

He then has the balls to try and offer me a better deal (while I'm still thinking, yeah but you just threatened to withhold/delay any future payment!)

@Chriskwong If the above dialogue is real just dump them as soon as possible and redirect the traffic elsewhere.

I had a similar experience with an ultra-rude affy manager at Karamba. I couldn't get them off my sites fast enough. I suggest you do the same.
