Years back, the online casinos offered no deposit bonuses with wagering requirements but you were able
to withdraw your winnings without making a deposit. Then, many of the casinos began requiring a deposit
before you could withdraw any of your winnings from a no deposit or free spin bonus. Now, I've just found
out that at Gossip Slots, the sister casino of Drake Casino, they will give you 20 free spins but when you
finish playing, you cannot use your winnings from the free spins to play the slot games until you've made a
deposit. So, if you won $3 from the free spins, then it is locked in the account until you've made a deposit.

As an affiliate, I just can't promote a free spin bonus that won't even let you play the slot games
with your winnings. Your balance doesn't even change over the course of the free spin feature.

Can I be the first to nominate it for the 2013 LocoPanda Memorial Award for stupidly named online casinos?

Personally I think OnBling is worse then LocoPanda.. But I do want to know who is coming up with these names.. I would love to be apart of that think tank.

I understood all your post except the last sentence above.
Can you explain exactly what you mean in more detail please?

As an affiliate, personally I prefer it that players need to make a deposit to claim NDB winnings, because once the player has registered a method of depositing it would be easier (and more probable) that he would come back and play again.
But the main reason the casinos ask for this of course, is for age and ID confirmation and to help eliminate fraud & multi-accounting.

I think he is saying that even with a little investigation, you will find that the bonus from them is completely worthless, and that without making a deposit it really can;t be withdrawn.

This is different than how it used to be, assuming we all played at trusted internet betting sites unlike the one listed perhaps.

Without playing favorites, I can say that I do not promote the Geneysys group very much, but maybe I should since Wizbet was the only place that gave me a cash out from a no deposit bonus. Since the fees are so high at RTG casinos, it is an absolute joke for Americans.

Since the max-cashout is always between $50 and $100, and the withdrawal fee is usually around the same, they truly have no value anyway.

Now to address you statement directly... I think you found an ill-fated establishment.

Any resolution so far?

Hi There,

I’m Jay from Drake Affiliates, the program that features Gossip Slots.

Just wanted to take a moment to explain how our free spins work as there seems to be some confusion. I just joined Affiliate Guard Dog and didn't see this until last week so apologies for the late reply.

We heard a lot of feedback from our Affiliate base before making the change to make winnings redeemable, so I want to ensure how the bonus works is clear on this thread. It works the same with free spins for non-depositors on Drake also.

When a customer registers a new account with Gossip they receive 25 Free Spins on our featured game.

Like a Free Spin round on our other Betsoft games, the total win accumulated does not display until the free spins have completed. This would happen if you won a free spin round in one of our many games, not just for this bonus. The total amount won from the free spins round should display to the player upon the completion of the free spins.

These winnings become part of a redeemable balance and there’s no limit to what they can be. They are released into the customers balance (redeemed) when the customer makes a deposit and the amount contains a 40x rollover. The amount can be added to the customer’s welcome bonus also.

So if a customer takes the free spins and wins $100, then make a 1st deposit of $25, accept the 400% welcome bonus, they will start off with a true cash balance of $225. The amount has a 40 x rollover but once that’s met, they can withdraw the entire amount provided they submit the required ID validation. This is different from our no-deposit free chip offers that contain a max cashout of $150.

We believe our free spins set up is a win/win for all involved: The affiliate is not losing out on bonus revenue deducted as part of their net-revenue calculation until an amount is won and the customer gets to try out our games and add-on to an already generous welcome bonus.

If you’re not seeing it work this way, please let me know and I will PM you to get more specific details and work through with our product team.

As for the name, well, everyone has an opinion. Some of our Affiliates love our name, some hate it. Our players love it and those that don’t, don’t play with us.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. What I meant in the last sentence was that after playing
the free spin bonus, I wasn't able to find the winning balance anywhere until I actually
visited the cashier and noticed that it was there as a bonus on my first casino deposit.

Also, this casino has a chat function that you can use while playing the games, and I
noticed other comments in the chat function at the time from players that were
annoyed or confused about what had happened to the winnings from the bonus.

The free spin bonuses typically don't yield big wins for the players. Most players
tend to leave with a few dollars of winnings, and I would assume that they just
use those winnings to try out other video slots within the casino. A few dollars
in winnings doesn't seem like adequate encouragement for someone to deposit.

This is a great point and it's something I am going to address with our product team this week. I went and reviewed chats on the in-game rooms and observed the same thing, so thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Your welcome. It's good to hear that you will be addressing some of the issues.

On a separate issue, I was looking for a 728x90 banner ad for Drake Casino earlier,
and I was almost ready to add the black one to our web site, when I noticed that
one of the sentences in the banner reads, "Receive Ree Spins By Signing Up Today!"

Hi NDG,

I looked through our banners and I see the banner sized 728x90 you're referring to. Any of our Affiliates who work with Drake are also welcome to offer Free Spins, we can discuss in a pm or you can mail me directly through the site and I will set up a game for you with a 25 Free spins offer at Drake. If that does not interest you, we do have a 728x90px Gif Banner called Standard 728 x 90 GIF (it looks like this, but only use this for reference pelase: http://info.drakecasino.eu/en/images/banners/Drake-gif-728x90.gif).

I hope this helps and please contact me if you'd like me to configure a Free Spins promotion.

That's not a very good deal, maybe you could contact them with feedback, they might be willing to change the promotion details?

Hi Affiliate Guard Dog Massive,

I just wanted to update this thread with some positive news. We received confirmation late last week that Betsoft released functionality allowing us to display the total winning from Free Spins bonus rounds to the player upon completion of the round. So now customers get the following message once they complete their free spins "Congratulations, you’ve completed your #Count# Free Round|Rounds. You've won $X.XX in free spins winnings redeemable by deposit. Please click ok to > visit the cashier and redeem your winnings!" We've already noticed a considerable uptick in conversions from no deposit free spins winners since this went live last week. Please contact me if you have any further questions. Jay, Drake Affiliates

Remember everyone, this group is NOT certified here at AGD. Do not sign up with them thinking AGD approves. There should also no longer be any promotional-type posts until they are certified. I don't want anyone to think we have looked through their contract when we have not.

thank you.

no worries. they are good guys. and I'll be working on certification this week. I just worry because I know many folks feel that programs are certified when they post :) I hope I didn't come off sounding too harsh.
