Hello all,

I have a problem with Grande Vegas Casino.

I have not yet been paid my April 2017 commission and it is only a very small amount.

I am also very worried that I will also not be paid any other commissions due to the fact that this 'technical error' will never be fixed from RTG's side.

I have sent out several emails to Tony my affiliate manager and he told me that there was a technical problem when they tried to make out the payment to my player account. This was on the 12th of May. Since then, I have sent out several emails to him with no response and no payment.

Every time I have a live chat with their operators, they just keep telling me that my problem is being sorted out at the moment and has been escalated but nothing at all has been done.

The email address that I have been sending my messages to for affiliates is:

grandevegasaffiliates@swiftassistance.com (for Tony my affiliate manager)

Can somebody please reach out to me and help me? I would really like a representative from Grande Vegas Casino to reach out here or someone that can help me.

Hello Andy, I would really appreciate your help mate.

Thank you all very kindly for all of your help here!

With the PM you sent me seeking help for this, I took a look at their affiliate site. It looks like 'cowboy town' that place. Hell, they have no affiliate T&C's !!!
As far as commission paid to your player account, that shouldn't present an issue (even with a legit tech problem), they should be able to pay you manually.

RTG casino operators have a bad track record for making up this sort of sh#t. IMO, if they haven't paid you, then the likelihood is, they're not going to pay you, sorry.

I have to ask though, why would you even signup to a program who has no T&C's???

I don't know. I've never had this problem before. This only all started last month.

How small? Don't expect you to say the amount, but is it:
  • $xx
  • $xxx

It's only $xx but it really does need to be sorted out.

Jeeeze - sorry but I think you are making a mountain out of a molehill.
All this fuss for less than $100?

Grande Vegas is part of the Jackpot Capital Group.
I have no idea what the issue is with your account, but I'm sure it will come good.
I promote Grande Vegas but earn peanuts ($22 in the last 3 YEARS) and haven't contacted anyone there for years - so I can't help here.

Hello RazorGamer, I am sorry you are having trouble. I have promoted GV since they opened and they have always paid players and myself in a timely manner. This is one of my favorite RTG casinos. Unfortunately, the affiliate rep can be slow to respond as I think he is overwhelmed with multiple properties. I suggest you contact -removed- will get you sorted straight away. Good luck!

FYI: Payments are automatically made to player accounts by the 3rd of the month in my experience. They have not missed a payment in 5+years with us so I suspect this must be a weird technical issue. GV and Co are exemplary with payments. Perhaps you can open a second player account and just get paid through that account. This is not some dodgy casino. Not only have they always paid by the 3rd of the month, they charge $0 for affiliate payouts.

Commission regardless of amount, if it's due, should be honoured and paid. However, for such a small amount, one (1) post is all that's needed...just sayin ;)

Edit:
Reiterating I don't work with RTG. However, looking at the aff program, there are no T&C's - the place looks very sparce. Anyway, no offense ment to anyone with my comments above. I just called it as I saw it (given that RTG doesn't have a great history).

You're absolutely spot on AussieDave. No matter how much the amount, it should be honoured and paid for sure. Thank you very kindly for your input mate :)

Big or small commissions, it's still money due. Sometimes seen a response is all one needs to decide to push more effort into a brand and drive more players, these affiliate programs sometimes never see that. They constantly chasing the "big boys" when it's the little guys who are testing the waters before they push harder, it could be to see how the brand converts, the credibility of reporting or to observe conversion. Whether it's a dollar or 100 000, it's your earned revenues, and you deserve it.

I do agree that all commissions should be paid, of course.
But writing a long thread and PM'ing people asking for help over such a small amount just seems like an overreaction in my view.
Just sayin' - no offence! ;)

My current total of un-paid commission = approximately $11,000 - with nearly $7,000 being from just one operator who vanished.
On top of that I also got ripped off to the tune of $19,000 by a program retroactively changing their terms without even telling me.
And approximately $5,000 more when those wankers at Sky Vegas and Ladbrokes retroactive changed my deals with them... :(
I was also earning several $1,000's per month with Fast Track before they sold-out to rogues in Jan - my earnings now are $0.
It just goes on and on...

In this game you HAVE to take the rough with the smooth - no point getting stressed over it.

We chase down payments every month even when they are small. If they agree to pay us, then it is our responsibility to make sure that they do.

I heard the issue has been sorted, is that correct RazorGamer?

When is the last time someone had a payment problem at Grande Vegas? Perhaps I am misinformed, but they have never even paid me a day late in 5+ years. I have NEVER had a player with a payment problem at GV that I can recall.

I have been in this business for over 10 years so I can confidently say that in my opinion this is not a case of a casino trying to screw over a small affiliate, this is an issue of an overwhelmed affiliate manager and a technical issue that should have been resolved much quicker. That does not make it ok, but there is no malicious intent here.

AussieDave, I adore you and don't want what I'm am going to say to come off as an attack of your question, but here's my answer:

It's a great question, and I will answer it with a question. What good are affiliate T&Cs in this business? How many times and how many millions have we all lost from affiliate sites just changing their terms or not following them? The things these programs say in their T&Cs are completely worthless in my opinion. I follow my instincts for the most part when registering for programs. They send me an email saying they are paying lifetime 50% rev? I know they are absolutely full of shit. I find player complaints about payments? No thanks. A member of my site tells me how much they like a casino and how they get their cashouts paid without hassle? Sign me up. I don't promote many programs because I am very jaded after so many years in the business, but the affiliate terms are the last place I look to decide who to promote. That said, I do check AGD before I register with a program so I do rely on AGD to check affiliate t&cs.

Cheers.
