Hacker: Update from Tropica and Rival

Hi there readers,

When we read about the hacker stealing from affiliates last week, we alerted Rival and today they announced the following changes to the affiliate back-office to help prevent losses of your hard earned revenue:

1. The Affiliate's email address is no longer editable, so hackers can't change your notifications. You need to log it and your account manager will do it for you.

2. You will also receive an email when changes are made to your account.

3. Your affiliate manager will receive a notification of any changes and review. Should foul play be suspected, you will be contacted.

4. Should you forget your login or password and request new ones, your affiliate manager will be notified via the back-office.

We will do what it takes to ensure your payments are safe (and fast : )

Hi there,

The security measures are live for all Rival Casinos. Affiliate managers need to activate the notifications so that they also receive emails when you make changes, but Rival has sent a message to all operators on the functionality and how to use it. If you are not sure or you do not hear from your affiliate manager, drop them a mail or skype and ask them if they are activated.

We will keep providing feedback to Rival when we see the need arising from forums and your feedback.
