Hello all!

Just a question, we have created Facebook, Twitter, Telegram and Instagram profiles, and this seems a lot to manage actually. In 3 languages each one :)

We have Twitter connected to Facebook so if we post in Twitter if automatically goes to GB. Telegram is independent.

We use Twitter to post new articles uploaded to website blog, and Telegram like a "magazine".

We used some paid advertising but this just did not worked, zero new users.

What social network do you think it converts more from readers/likes/posts to players?

It's quite difficult to run social traffic since the conversion funnel is extended with an extra step, even for markets where FB allows gambling ads.

Its difficult for operators to attract NDCs under their own brand name, but easy for RDCs. For RDCs you can just smash up any type of content, but for NDCs they are mainly relying on dark ads with some type of quality content + a boosted offer aka. native.

As an affiliate the way to go is native. Either buy cloaking or piggybacking an operators advertising license. Informative content is bad, meanwhile jackpots as in terms of hot jackpots or a winner story from jackpots is good, but is often borderline (you cant exhort/urge players to play) depending on which market you are targetting.

This is based on my experience and I am an SEO'r, so I bet there are better people at this forum than me.

I do have facebook pages for my websites but most of the "members" seems to be bogus users. I ran adds before on facebook but was suspended. Seems it's easier nowadays, maybe I will try again. The problem is, do I send traffic directly to casinos through the adds or do I send them to a page on my website?

Sending straight to casinos will definitely get your account suspended. If you want to go for untargetted traffic and send straight to offer, start with pop traffic :) I suggest you send to a lander in the format of native ads.

You wont be able to advertise in Swedish though.

If you have evergreen content, you can set up some apps to constantly resend the content to that social site where it fits the best.

Well, in my experience Twitter worked really well back in the day's, Google + worked only at beginning and FB banned at least 10 of my pages. So, a lot of effort and very little of return. I do not bother with SM as the management part of it takes forever befre you get something back!

I use Twitter a lot, but not much else. A bit of FB sometimes.

Do you have a decent results in it? How many followers do you have there that are interested and responding to your posts?

Because back in the day's I had like 100k - but rarely 0.1% of them where responding. They where not bots in any sense - real humans aquired in a natural way. But in the gambling niche - they where super slow.

I find the number of followers to be irrelevant, as I don't post for the followers to read. I post because I know Google will pick it up and give me a short burst of traffic, which is great just before an event or special announcement. It's very short term traffic, but it takes almost no effort to get it.

Hmm, never had such a experience that Google would pick some gambling offer and would rank it so high that would gave me a decent traffic. Usually the traffic related to Twitter is super spammy and bounces are there a lot.

Anyhow - it's cool that it works for you without effort!

When I used Twitter for a while, 99% of the visits I received from there were from bots following the links I posted. Very few humans clicked the links (and even those may have actually been bots that were well disguised). So I abandoned the idea, since tweeting seemed to be a waste of time and since it wasn't generating any revenue.

I use mainly Twitter and Facebook and they have both always worked very well with little to no issues.

Hi Megan, they seem to be lifting up my traffic as my specific keywords are being targeted mainly by them for social advertising.

BTW Google confirmed some time ago that social signals are not ranking signals, so if you don't have converting traffic from social or you don't build a brand by it, it is almost worthless :-/

Yes, the rankings target is pointless with SM and the traffic itself as well, except if it doesn't convert and so far from Twitter I haven't seen decent conversions in the gambling niche...

Anyhow - it's cool that it works for some!

Well lots of action here, very glad!!

I promote pages without link to website to get likes to my gambling sites facebook pages.

I would like to ask, what's the benefit of having more likes into your facebook pages?

And a question for all, do you only post in your profiles or buy advertising? I'm asking cause of course I have my account locked for buying ads in the past and I'm guessing nothing has changed about that :)
