It's that time of year again - Xmas is over and the dust has settled - time to sit down and reflect on the year just past.
Time for KasinoKing to start another poll!

In purely $ terms, how was 2013 for you?

For me personally, despite the seemingly never-ending crap and hassles of this business, it was a surprisingly good year!
In fact, in straight £ terms (ignoring inflation but taking into account the much better $/£ exchange rate) it was my best year yet by a tiny margin - a fraction better than 2008 and a whopping 51% better than 2012!
My best improvers were MicroGaming based casinos which were unusually bad in 2012, the Rival casinos that have started taking USA players again and NetEnt based casinos which have been coming on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years.
Not surprisingly, RTG & Playtech with their reputation for having too many rogue operators, generally crap bonuses and slow, problematical cash-out times have remained static and look destined to fade into obscurity if they don't pull their socks up soon.

Please vote and add any comment you might have below.
Thanks!

Please add: "2013 was the worst year". I've had lots and lots of winners and even if the traffic was steady and converted almost as 2012, my earnings went down and I have the feeling that 90% of affiliates shave me (+/-).

If this year will be the same I really think I will sell all my casino related websites!

Thank god that I have my adsense websites and other type of income.

I was up 400% on 2012. It was a very luck break (player one month went crazy). Without that player, I was down about 5%.

Even catching a whale in Sept, who has made me a nice pile of ca-ching, I was still far worse than 50% less than 2012. Can't say it's any one reason because there were a few. One of which was negative seo. And no, not from me buying links either. In the previous year held multiple google page 1 terms. Initially when Google released their animals, things stayed stable but when Penguin 2.0 arrived, things tanked in a big way. So much so, I trashed my main portal, re-wrote everything and all the rest which goes along with that. Been almost 10 months since that update and although I rank very well for long-tails, the site hasn't sprung back into high traffic money terms.

If it wasn't for a handful of smaller feeder sites, I'd have lost far more hair than I have :)

Due to a few very big players and a really strong last quarter of the year I ended 2013 around 25% UP on 2012, with a number I am very satisfied with.

I've been doing internet marketing for a while but only started with casino programs in late 2013, and glad I did... It's the most profitable niche I've tried so far.

I was about 50% up on 2012, could have been much more if not for some unlucky investments... 8)
