Things aren't getting any easier. That's for sure. It seems like I now have to work twice as hard to generate half the income that I used to make. I think it has to do with a lot of things such as the economy, the serps, the laws, etc

Yep, it's definitely getting MUCH worse.

In addition to the many very poorly run affy programs, a few factors which I'm sure are effecting my own conversions are:
The USA situation (very limited choice of casinos and pretty awful cash-out speed & policies from the ones who do take USA players)
The increasingly CRAP welcome offers which most casinos seem to think are OK for some strange reason. (Including some bizarre rules too).
The ever increasing sea of spam mails everyone's in-boxes are getting flooded with; This leads either to potential players signing-up via the spammers links , or more likely (and worse), potential players getting the impression that ALL casinos are unscrupulous money-grabbing spammers and are not to be trusted...

Whenever I say to myself "things can't get much worse", they find a way of getting worse lol This industry seems to be on its last legs, and I don't know how much longer it will be profitable for. I hope the industry can hold out for at least another few years, I still don't have enough saved up to live purely on investments.

Yes I would say so. The reason for this is they know they can get away with it and we as affiliates really don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to bringing these thieves to book apart from rouging them. Although the economy could be regarded as a major factor I think unscrupulous affiliate programs use it as an excuse to shave affiliates.

i've noticed that.. What the hell is with those cash outs ?.. And cash out limits ? like $2,000.. When you have to deposit $1,500 to get the bonus.. I was starting to think it was just me. But it seems every program is at it in one form or another..

has anybody noticed when you first join a program you get 2 or 3 signs ups then bam everything stops.. Yet your click and visitors increase.. It's like well hold on, I sent you 100 click in my first month and got 3 depositors.. The 2nd month i sent 350 clicks and get 1 depositor.. 3rd month im sending 1000 clicks and ZERO depositors.. Yet nothing has changed my end.. Traffic is still the same sources yet ZERO, ZERO, ZERO

Im fed up anybody want to buy my website :D

It is rough going and *most* of the Affiliate Managers are: Not Helpful, Rude to the point you don't want to talk with them, or Non-existant (i.e., don't respond). The good thing is that it makes the quality AM's stand out from the pack VERY easily (and their programs benefit from it). The bad is that it becomes VERY difficult to put new casinos up due to very poor management (if any).

It is a huge cluster and we are all paying the price for it.

I've noticed this as well, it seems mostly with the MG's.

I also said the same thing about working twice as hard for less money but its across the board, I know people with non-gambling b&m businesses that said the same thing to me over lunch two weeks ago.

Its not just this industry, my niche home and garden retail sites dominated 2 years ago now I see walmart, target, sears and a slew of others running adwords ads in G that they would haven't even bothered with in a robust economy.
