What needs to happen is that we move away from revenue share. It's just a license to rob and steal on the operator's behalf.
Regardless of what remuneration deal your on, unless programs supply ALL the stats to affiliates, they can steal. No program to my knowledge, has ever supplies ALL the stat-data.
If your an affiliate who can charge a listing fee, then your an affiliate a program will likely not risk shaving.
It all comes back down to transparency.
Programs who
choose to hide x,y,z are 99.999% of the time doing it for nefarious (crooked) reasons.
Edit:
10+ years ago now but had a feeling Fortunate Lounge Group pulled a swifty on me. So I played my AM at the time into a corner, where, he had no other option but to provide me with, what I thought, were the complete stats for a requested date period. Short of it was, it wasn't until I contacted FL Group's CFO (chief financial officer - who I'd known for years), that he sent my the FULL stats.
Clearly they had stung me.
I have reason to believe Joffery (CFO) had no idea about this swindle, hence, I think two (2) sets of stats were present. Not the first time 2x databases were used by MGS casinos own by the Moshals. The All Slots 2x database scam was brought to light by Lloyd A, the programs sacked (asked too many questions) coordinator. If you knew Lloyd like I do/did, he was straight as an arrow. So if said it stunk, it stinked.
