Kindred Group, the parent company of leading online casinos and sportsbooks, has recently announced that it is reducing its presence in a number of US states due to decreased revenue. The company is voluntarily ceasing operations in several states due to the lack of tax and other benefits brought by their presence in those regions. This is a major setback for the online gaming and betting sector, as it stands to lose hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue that could have otherwise been generated.

Not really surprised at all. Regulation is always trash these days. Players prefer VPN and crypto instead and there are many solid options these days. That's what always happens when you over regulate.

@Motz,
I agree with you, but I assume they made some heavy investments to gain traction in the newly opened US states, so I think it's early to give up.
