News to me, but Ladbrokes affiliate program now appears to be based in Israel.
Ladbrokes top marketer departs as digital team moves to Israel | Marketing Magazine

A good thing? A bad thing? I'm looking for people's experiences as I've read a lot of bad comments about working with Ladbrokes and don't see a lot of affiliates marketing them.

Seem to have a good offering to me - global brand etc, but I'm always a bit wary when affiliate programs up sticks and move somewhere else as the change of personnel, management, and renaming of affiliate programs can often come with difficulties with affiliates losing out on players, commissions, having deals reneged and basically starting all over again with a new program. I've had this before whereby I've had an excellent relationship with a company and an affiliate manager, then literally over night they were moved out of the company and I lost out when the new management came in and changed everything around.

Wondering whether I should promote Ladbrokes any more while they're going through this change until I find some people I can trust to build a good working relationship, as that's the most important thing in this industry!

Not sure on the terms - you can get a good rev share deal if you ask. I'm pretty sure they do cross product too which is essential. I think you get rewarded for lifetime too. Which terms are worse than others?

I am slightly worried about them skimming players and revenue, but most advertisers cause me this worry!

I know they had a bad reputation as they dropped any US based affiliates, but I can sort of understand why they had to do this to avoid legal trouble.

Pretty nasty changes - I suppose though if you've joined after this then you just accept that's the deal when you joined. Can understand if a lot of affiliates do not promote them due to being screwed over though.

Problem I have though is finding sportsbooks like Ladbrokes that are willing to take (and convert) with non-UK players. Far too many sportsbooks don't convert with non-UK players, and some I know of even cancel a lot of foreign accounts as people sign up, apparently through a "risk team" as they term it. Makes you wonder how many players you're losing that get cancelled by the "risk team", who never hit your stats.

Still not sure whether to promote Ladbrokes though. I've heard a lot of my visitors from far flung places do like Ladbrokes as they say they're the slackest at the anti-fraud checks and requiring ID from players. That's a massive problem when trying to attract non-UK sign ups. Perhaps we should start a new thread on affiliate programs that convert best and/or sites that have the least beauracracy when it comes to allowing players to sign up, deposit, and withdraw. I've heard some sites let people bet but when it comes to extracting their winnings they then get blocked until they can come up with a fax of their passport to the sportsbook/casino site.
