Whats up guys, I am curious if anyone is investing in Litecoin and Ethereum? Bitcoin has hit an amazing high but what about these other currencies? Ethereum and Litecoin rallied after the Bitcoin Fork on November 15, 2017. Does anyone see any real demand for them besides the "deep" demand factor?

It looks like they are going up with BTC. Amazon is accepting BTC so it has mainstreem demand. I am curious to hear insights from an investment point of view.

Amazon is not accepting BTC, if that happens BTC will go through the roof.

I was totally gutted that I sold a load of Bitcoin early in the year and missed out on being $300,000 richer if I had held on to them  so I have recently started using my last few Bitcoins to buy Ethereum in the hope that sky-rockets too.

Can't see it happening personally - but then, I didn't foresee Bitcoin going crazy either - so you never know...

I hold LTC and ETH, they both have useful features. ETH I believe has amazing tech behind it and is said to be the tech that will "Rebuild the internet". Read the white paper on it, its the #2 coin in market cap, and most other altcoins are built on top of it. Reddit is a great place to find a lot of information on each coin.

Amazon does not accept Bitcoin yet it was a rumor https://futurism.com/rumor-suggests-amazon-will-begin-accepting-bitcoin/ . I saw an image that made it look like Amazon is accepting BTC. It is false. I see an upside on etherum, litecoin and the smaller currencies but IMO it is not a safe investment. Etherum and Litecoin look expensive. I saw a prediction for litecoin in a year for about 200.

I am getting that with reit dividends. Check out Capital Product Partners L.P. (CPLP). It has over 10% quarterly dividends and the price has been stable. Twitter (TWTR) has been going from under 15- over 20 constantly. It is a solid stock to hold as well as trade.

Amazon registered a few crypto named domains.
  • The domains are amazonethereum.com, amazoncryptocurrency.com, amazoncryptocurrencies.com.
  • Amazon already owns the "amazonbitcoin.com" domain name, according to Coindesk.

I think that the problem with Ethereum is the name. It's easy to remember Bitcoin or Litecoin.. and people that know
nothing about them will likely assume that they are some type of currency. But, if you tell somebody that you just
bought Ethereum.. I'm not sure what they will think that is.. a prescription drug, a new type of fuel, etc..

LOL when I first heard about Ethereum, it made me interested. It just sounds intriguing. But I also see your point, if someone overheard you are buying or selling Ethereum, it could very much sound like drugs.

Are you sure about that? I read about Amazon.de being the guinea pig last year. I'm in a rush but here's a quick Reddit post I saw on the matter: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3zezfr/effective_immediately_you_can_fund_your_amazonde/

Heard on the news this morning that the UK may consider regulating Bitcoin.

Lots of new btc news that could be big. Or a big nothingburger.
