I've given up expecting Rival to come up with a new slot which is pretty decent or innovative. Since The Back Nine (July 2011) they have all been rather dull, low-variance, virtual "clones".
Such a shame for a software which showed such HUGE potential 2007 to 2009.
I haven't seen this one in detail yet, but as usual - no holding of breath here.

The only good thing is that Rival DO still have their great older slots, and so you can promote by highlighting them instead of the new ones.

Just gave it a try expecting same old, same old... and found Rival had done something different... AT LAST!

Yes folks, you heard right. Instead of the usual (and fairly useless) expanding wilds on reels 1, 3 & 5 we've seen on the last dozen or so new offerings, this one has them on reels 1, 2 & 3!
IMHO this makes the slot a much more attractive proposition for players.
Maybe Rival have started to listen, finally!

Now we just need to get them to up their RTP's a bit. This one is stated as 94.65% which is a tad low compared to the likes of Microgaming, Playtech, etc. which average in the 96% region.

Good review Andy... honest feedback is always welcome. I agree with Andy - pick bonuses are no fun unless there are dozen items to choose from and you get 3+ chances to choose (I am hooked on Ocean's Treasure - lol).

In case readers here aren't aware, Rival are advised of every thread posted. So, feedback (good or bad) is going to management on a daily basis.
