Managed dedicated servers

I'm looking for a reliable, inexpensive (under $200 per month) and non-stupid hosting service that offers managed dedicated servers. I'm basically after 4GB RAM, Linux server with 500GB Disk Space. Nothing fancy. I'll mostly be hosting wordpress on it.

I tried hostgator, but the domains didn't resolve for almost a week and then they told me there was an error with the settings, then they weren't sure what the problem is. So I went to another host and am not happy with them either.

Liquid Web is an excellent host, but a bit pricey, so I'm still looking.

If you could recommend a reliable service that you've actually used, I would be grateful. Thank you.

Coreix.net are very good. I have been using them for dedicated servers since 2005 and IMO are one of the best hosts around. UK based though, so might be a tad expensive.

Correct but very expensive indeed.

I am not sure if it will an advantage regarding SEO these days ?

I am not sure if it's still actual, sorry for reviving of this old thread. I have recently started my own server, and I think that I have found the best minecraft server hosting, called ggservers. It's very stable and has a reasonable price. It's the best hosting that I have managed to find on the internet.

Why exactly do you need a server?
