I'm not surprised. The Aussie markets are in turmoil over the passing of that new bill. Sites are pulling out left and right. On the poker side, the biggest sites in the world, PokerStars, PartyPoker, and 888 poker have all left the market!

is not of be surprised, is that, each time, countries apply more and more and more strict laws and taxes to gambling
in the last 2-3 years, in how many countries disappeared a lot of online gambling companies?

There are quite a few .au domains (Google searches) still actively allowing AU traffic. Me, as soon as the GIA passed, I block all AU traffic. Granted had another 30 days before it became Federal law, but, didn't want to end up on some Fed's list. Besides, can't afford the $1Mil per day fine :D

NB - Nick Xenophon (independent Fed Poli) the instigator of the amended GIA, and advocate this Bill's passing. Has been accused of holding dual citizenship, AU & UK. His Political days maybe numbered - you can't be an AU poli and hold dual citizenship.

With another 5 or so poli's, including the Deputy Prime Minister being caught up in this mess, it's all been handed over to High Court of Australia to make a ruling. Though, I bleieve these cases don't commence for a couple more weeks. Even then, it could very well take literally months for a judgement.

Not entirely sure if this would make the BILL void.

But don't see how any of it could be valid, as all of Xenophon's entires have been made on the GIA, when he wasn't rightfully allowed to be an AU Poli. And, if other poli's who voted on it's passing, are now deemed invalid to hold Senate seats, then it throws yet another cat, into an already large pigeon fight!

We try to mix between grey markets and regulated markets. Grey markets are way more interesting in terms of $, but either they will regulate or have stricter enforcement. So it's a future investment because for today some regulated markets aren't interesting at all compared with some grey markets. I'm seeing regulated markets where conversion is factor 10 lower and net commissions are half of what we get in grey markets. Everybody can do the math.

Also AU we still do, although we're removing brands on a daily base almost. On the other hand, you see some AU-focused brands popping up.

I hope that by the time the markets I focus on regulate to any reasonable degree, that I'm retired and living the good life somewhere. You can't count on politicians and bureaucrats to make business good... it won't happen. It can't happen. Governments all over the world are short on funds and gambling is an easy target... common man has no sympathy for greedy gambling providers (or affiliates).
