Hi guys, its time for a new tool here. Currently, I´m with a 15-inch MBP (Retina) since late 2012.

I have two options both with 32 GB Ram and a terra SSD storage.

But makes it sense to upgrade the standard 2.6ghz 6-core to a 2.3ghz 8-core?

I use Macbook Pro (MBP) since 2013 ... that's not the question.
Just not sure about the processor, that's it :)

as always, totally depends on your budget and usage.
I would always go for the cheaper option unless I really need the better option

I prefer ASUS ZenBook Pro, I just love working on Windows more.

Fans of Mac hardly ever (unless it's a must-do) jump the fence per se and switch to a non-mac OS.

Personally, I don't know how anyone could spend literally hours a day working on a laptop. While I have one, my desktops (towers) are the work horses, matched with ASUS HD 32" monitors.

I'm using Macbook as "always with me" laptop, cuz I travel a lot. In the office I use windows at Asus ROG laptop + 4K additional display. So, I switch all the time :)

@Roman Doroshenko - lol...your not going to lug a desktop around when your traveling, so that makes sense.

I bought a Lenovo P52 notebook at the end of last year. I mostly use it as a desktop (with a docking station and 2 monitors).
While I was even able to play current games (I didn't play any games for 10 years, thought I'll give it a try in my spare time), I'm not very happy with my decision. I've stopped playing games again, so the machine is rather too powerful, which means it's too heavy, is getting too hot, and the battery time is too low.
