Let's talk and count the ways this tool(literal) sucks! I get so annoyed every day when I am in the back end of the newest version of Netrefer, the marketing material is a pain in the rear to grab. Don't get me started on the stats and reports. The worse part is almost all my good decent earners are using this shit platform.

I agree and sympathise with you Christine. The updated version is horrible, and that's being kind. I've simply given up trying to make head and tail of stats. (In my case), the monthly earnings and what's owed, or been paid, is like fishing thru a ball of knotted string

They are especially horrible as they enable their crooked licensees such as William Hill to remove deposit amounts from the statistics. There has recently also been a thread about this at gpwa. This pretty much makes it impossible to verify any customer data and the rightfulness of the revenue.

I don't use the new version anywhere.
When they first changed it, I tried at a few programs but very quickly realised it's shite - so I always refuse the offer to "Try the new beta version".
I just hope they don't one day force us to dump the old version - if they do, it may lead to me doing some dumping too!

They will force you soon KK so I would start trying to get used to the new version if I were you. I find the reports in the new version much better by exporting them all into excel first, they don't even all fit on my laptop screen otherwise!

TTRPartners (32 Red) shows version 4.5.25
Mr. Affiliate uses 4.8.4.60 for the old and version 2.2.2 Beta for the new.

I'm utterly staggered at how useless NetRefer's reporting is.

General Reports: If you run the Monthly Figures report it doesn't break it down by Marketing Source OR brand, so now I don't know which brand or which of my own sites contributed to the data. Then it tells me the Net Revenue amount, why can't you tell me how much I have actually earned! I know I can work it out, but if I am checking the stats for 200 brands at the end of the month do I want that extra bit of work when they could just show it? NO I DON'T!

General Reports/Brand Figures: This breaks down the performance by brand. But I can't do a date range, can only select a month, and I can't see the performance by Marketing Source.

Marketing Source Reports: With the Monthly Report I can only look at 1 month in isolation and it doesn't split the marketing source down by brand. WHAT! Group Figures, same.

Product figures: So I get a report for a range by product, but I can;t break it down to brand or to marketing source, what is the point of this report? For me, no point. No point at all.

Customer Reporting: This report at least gives you a good breakdown of the plan, the Marketing source name and the brand, but I don't know the click amounts and again the amount I've eanred isn't conveniently there as it is with Income Access or for that matter, every other affiliate system in the world.

Why do people use NetRefer? I just don't get it.

The new version's user experience is indeed bad! Hope they'll refresh some of the older version and get it on par with the new 1.

It would be wonderful if NetRefer would respond in this thread to defend the usability/functionality, or perhaps one of the many merchants that use it.

Found a little bug, perhaps others can see it too: with Marketing Source Groups, when selecting Advanced and isolating a Marketing Source, it doesn't show data for the Marketing Source selected, but all data.

Please could you add a column to the Marketing Source Monthly Figures, or any Affiliate Report, and call it "Commission". In case you didn't know (and it's not at all obvious, so you can be forgiven), Affiliates would really like to know how much they have earned, rather than a changeable over time figure like Net Revenue.

That way, should we want to know how one of our sites has done in any time frame, we can use your Marketing Source report to identify how much money we have made.

Just to clarify, the commission should be broken down into "CPA" and "Revenue Share", with a "Total" at the end.

Actually I tell you what, borrow someone's login to Income Access and just copy them. Private message me if you would like some help.

I agree and would like to see this, too. Showing Net Revenue alone isn't very useful to me.

Hi, I'm a new affiliate and I have no clue how to use the new version of NetRefer. Can anyone break it down for me? I'm struggling with the 'media' section, I know I sound dumb, but I just don't understand it! : (
