Hi,

I am wondering how you deal with this.

I get a lot of emails about new online casinos and programs (especially NetEnt) if I would like to promote them, add them to my websites.

At first I would always give them a try, but lately I am more careful and rather not add any at the moment.

How do you all deal with new programs/casinos. When would you say you are willing to add them?

Ask them to pay you to be added and/or reviewed. It sorts out the wheat from the chaff.

With the number of these new NetEnt+MG "clones" popping up at an alarming rate these days - that is a VERY good question!
I too am becoming MUCH more selective.

The first problem is, that because they are new, you don't know how well they will treat their customers (my primary concern).
Putting that aside, the first thing I look at is how good their player Welcome Bonuses are and if there's any "nasties" in their player T&Cs.
(Any with stupid-high WRs on their bonuses go straight in the trash!)

If that is OK, only then do I look at the Affiliate terms.
Here the first things to look at are if they have NCO or quotas. (Obviously if they do, it's bye-bye time!)
After that, what rev Share % they will offer me. (Bear in mind that these casinos deduct huge Net Ent & MG network fees off their gross before calculating your commission, which often has a big negative impact on your earnings per $ lost by your players, compared to some other softwares).

Do casinos actually pay upfront to be placed?

There are cases where they paid in advance ...

I agree with KasinoKing, and I would like to add something else (with permission of KasinoKing)

Firstly, search on the GOOGLE/Forums if this program is already blacklisted or not, if not ...

Look for as much information about this program (both positive - or negative) ...

- Also read carefully their T&C. about:

1) Negative Carry Over +/- (KasinoKing)
2) Dormant Acc Policy +/-
3) Boundling +/-
4) Additional hidden fees (KasinoKing) +/-
5) any other Predatory T&C (Predatory Cross Promo, etc)
6)and last but not least "Revenue Formula" (KasinoKing)

- Also read about Payout Options and When they will pay you - Are convenient for you or not?

... Then put them on the scale :)

!!! Regarding NetEnt powered ... most of them pay only on player Acc (and also most of them will ask You to verify your identity when you will request to withdraw money) + !!! have a lot of additional fees (realy their % Rev Share is much smaller than in fact) - be carefull with these programs

Yes decent ones do, providing you have a good site. Underfunded, crappy ones run by two guys in their mother's basement don't. Thus hitting two birds with one stone.

Think about your opportunity cost. If you add a new one, you probably remove or demote an old one. How do you know if the new one is going to convert and earn better than the old one? You could be worse off just by adding a new casino. So a little compensation for your time, effort and risk is not too much to ask.

Sometimes I feel like a real dumb-ass asking these (basic) questions. But even after having websites for over 5 years now I am still like WHAT?? HOW?? WHY??

So I just ask and ask and ask. And some of the members here are VERY helpful.
So yes AGD is a very great resource, for me the best compared to CAP and GPWA.

Oh heck yes. If they did not get me in the beginning helping me along the way there is a serious cost of entry now! One that gave me tons of attention, material, and money first will always get their sites listed, but others wont give me cash upfront. Why should we have to take the risk of trying their sites when our are working fine with out paying in advance?

It also shows confidence in the brand they represent, and that is hard to come by in an industry that turns people over faster than hamburgers at McDonald's.
