having read it it seems they'll be getting more strict. having been lucky enough to visit Singapore a number of times (it's a fantastic place) they really don't want their residents taking part. Even the big casino in the Marina Bay Sands Hotel is stacked against locals. You need to take your ID/Passport to get in and foreign nationals get in for free, locals have to pay $100 to deter them from going and losing their dough
