I noticed yesterday that a lot of the playtech jackpots in the tickers have wrong values. eg beach life around 70k when its actually over 4m. Looks like it has screwed up affiliate sites that regularly scrape and record values too. Some of the casinos are affected too - its wrong on Betfred but right on Bet365 so who knows what is going on.

I recorded a hit on Gold Rally and Beach Life yesterday. Gold Rally paid out over $617,000 and Beach Life paid out over $4.2 million.

The jackpot values haven't (yet) popped up to where they were before -- in other words, the hits seem genuine. Usually if it's a false hit, it is corrected pretty quickly. Other graphs appear normal -- the Megajacks graph, for example, looks like it usually does, with no sign of any sort of feed disruption.

That said, it is odd that the tickers don't match at various casino sites. Playtech should straighten this out and make sure everyone is using the correct feed. Obviously Betfred and Bet365 aren't using the same feed, and the conversion rate used on the Betfred feed is way off. My source is showing $77,000 for the Beach Life jackpot right now, which would be almost £48,000, but Betfred is showing £67,000. Maybe they have different pools for $, £, and € now; I don't think so, though....

Weird I was checking out Playtech's own site (Win A Jackpot) and the values there were contradictory as well. But now today they seem to be low again. Maybe they did really go off. Playtech jackpots definitely do have a different value in each currency btw which is worked out off their own exchange rates.

It will be interesting to see if the winner gets paid the full amount after the last time...

hmm winajackpot now states someone won $2.9m at Europa casino on the 17th. Assuming that is meant to be a euros value and not $, because it works out to be roughly $4.2m if it is.
