I'm considering adding some live casino listings on my site and was hoping to get some recommendations for good programs. Are you guys having much luck promoting them?

I only really know about Dublin Bet, so thoughts on them and any other suitable casinos would be really good.

I just (about a month ago) decided to do the same thing!

It's been a bit of a struggle trying to get the (what I consider to be) basic info out of some of the operators, but I'm getting there.

I can tell you one to avoid; Fairway Casino.
I met these guys at LAC and everything seemed totally fine and I was all set to go. But when I set up a player account and went to their website... well it was a bit of a joke really. Every time I logged in it came up as a "Fun Account" and there was no obvious way to switch to real money. Also links are in the wrong place and basically it's all just mixed up, confusing and amateurish.
Their rep was "helping" me by e-mail, but didn't seem to understand the problems I was having, then he just went quiet.
Loads of time wasted too... :(

Will Live Dealer casinos earn me any dosh?
Well to be honest, my expectations are that I will earn precisely Zero.
So anything more than that would be a bonus! ;)

LiveCasinoPartners has paid me - I don't have them a ton of places on our site, but we've picked up a few players passively. Support is great with Adrian and Gabriel who are regulars here....

Smart Live

I know about Smart Live Casino as well , have them up on one or two language sites - we have converted a few players - also very passively promoting them, we have never had issues but i have heard of a horror story or two on the forums a while back

LiveCasinoPartners has a couple of good live casinos to promote.
No negative carry over, which is pretty useful as table games can produce some big winners.
SmartLiveCasino is good also - appeals to a different type of gambler with the TV show.

I highly recommend bet365. They are one of my favorite brands to partner with for many different reasons.

They are very good - but NCO killed it for me.
Had to pull their banners over a year ago now. :(

That sucks, I guess I have been lucky in that regard. It has to suck when you have a reputable brand that you want to push, yet doing so is throwing money into a black hole and not a good business decision. I wonder if they would be open to working something out with you.

Like deducting 10% of your net monthly earnings towards the negative balance until it's squared away in exchange for you pushing them again. I've never asked them for any concessions so I don't know how open they are about those things, but it would seem to me that a compromise like that would behoove both parties and get things rolling again.

I have been told :

Unfortunately we don’t offer NCO as this is something that is standard practice and company policy within our affiliate program.

In order stay out of the negatives you need high volume and converting traffic to stay afloat or just be lucky you won't get lucky players that cash out..........

Good program but it is not for the average Joe the Plumber ;)

I did ask them back in December 2009 (after being negative since November 2008!) - but they refused to help out.
So I pulled all their banners down. At that time my negative was "only" $649.
In the same month I asked Club World if they could help with more than $2,000 negative there - and to their credit they were obliging! ;)

My negative at Bet365 went as high (low?) as -$1,175 in March 2010, but by the end of December it was only -$239, so I'm getting there!
(Haven't checked January yet - I only look at the end of each quarter!)

It is a shame, like you say, because Bet365 are one of the best operators on the net otherwise.

For me I would probably put them back up if I was only stuck a few hundred. You might feel like you are just paying back money but $300 is a pretty easy nut to crack and the sooner you crack it the sooner you can start growing a player base with a top brand in this industry.

When I first started to do fair in this business I was in the same situation. I was sending a few conversions here and there and some times I ended up negative at the end of the month. But I tried to look at the bigger picture and where I wanted to grow my player bases so being negative for a month or two wasn't the end of the world for me. I wasn't happy about it but I knew if I continued to grow a player base with certain trusted programs that it would pay me nice dividends in the future.

To make a long story short 5 years later I can't remember the last time I was in the negative at any of the programs I work. It's not like i am a big affilaite or anything either, I send bet365 maybe 5-10 conversions a month. Not huge numbers, but after doing that for 3 years I consistently have $20K plus a month in deposits with them which turns into a nice monthly revenue stream from that program.

I don't say any of that to toot my own horn, those numbers are nothing to write home about anyways. My point was just sometimes rolling with the punches instead of being drastic sometimes turns out better for you in the long run. At least it did for me - but I also understand everything is relative. What seems like a good strategy for some affiliates might not be the best for others, especially if you need to figure out how the rent is gonna get paid next month. I get that, just thought I would share and maybe help you look at it from a different angle.

The live dealer games are becoming more popular. I think all affiliates should consider adding them to their sites. In my experience the player retention and conversion is amazing. Once you get a player they keep coming back. If you are interested in promoting live casino games and don't know where to start I'd recommend these programs.
  • LiveCasinoPartners.com (That's us!.. which is self serving, but we are a solid program)
  • Dublinbet affiliate program (Strong program as well)
  • Europartners . I know I'll get heat from saying this, but they pay on time and I've only had a few tracking issues before. Playtech software no landing pages
  • Castle Affiliates (New, program but I've talked with the operators and like what I see and hear from them)
  • PaddyPowerCasino. They use evolution software, which combined with their history is a good combination.

I am surprised about comments about FairwayCasino. I know the guys who run it and they are veterans with good histories. I think that I'd give them a chance too.

I haven't had so much luck with SmartLiveCasino or SuperCasino, but I know affiliates who do well with them as well.

I feel it's where online casinos are evolving to. I still think there's a lot of improvements the live casino software providers can do to make the experience more authentic. I would like to see more interaction between players etc..
