The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) reported a 42% increase in revenues for the first nine months of 2024, reaching Php79.43 billion (US$1.36 billion). This period featured their highest quarterly revenue at Php27.7 billion (US$475 million) in the third quarter. Net income nearly doubled to Php9.63 billion (US$165 million), driven primarily by the e-Games sector despite a ban on offshore gaming. PAGCOR contributed Php48.9 billion (US$839 million) to national development, with significant funds supporting the Universal Healthcare Law and enhancing athletic programs. Chairman Alejandro Tengco remains optimistic about meeting the year-end target of Php100 billion.
