Liechtenstein is set to decide whether to ban all casinos in the principality after a referendum was approved by the government. According to the proposal, the ban would include both physical casinos as well as any online gambling websites that accept Liechtenstein players. This referendum was set to take place on January 29 and will be the third such ban referendum held in Liechtenstein since 2012. If approved, it would become the first country in Europe to completely outlaw all forms of casino gambling.
