Liechtenstein has rejected a proposed ban on casinos in a referendum held on Sunday, with over 70% of voters opposing the measure. The referendum was prompted by pressure group IG Volksmeinung, which argued that the gambling industry is an important source of income and that a ban was too drastic a measure to address issues like gambling addiction
