We're on the verge of promoting RevenueJet but from the looks and sound of things it's not worth it since their casinos have been down for the last week or so. Just wanted to know if anyone knows what's going on and when they'll be back online again?

Thanks

Only a guess here but I think they are long gone. they have been down for 3 weeks and didn't track right in the first place.

I was asked a few times over the past 6 months to consider adding them but really didn't want any more RTG's.

If anything I've been house cleaning many programs this past week.

I think they will come back.
However, for me, being out for 3 weeks with NO information to players or affiliates is 2.5 weeks too long and unacceptable behaviour.
I also fail to see what sort of server problem could be so serious as to take so long to resolve... ? I mean, a server is just a computer, isn't it?
Unless I hear a very good explanation very soon, I will be kicking them to the curb.

I've completed the casino reviews of two of their casinos: Grand Parker and Loco Panda but have not gone live with the reviews since we're busy revamping our site. It seems I've done the reviews for nothing. Which is a pity really since they started out really good and many affiliates raved about them.

I wouldn't bank on it. This from a Meister player:

... I to[o] have funds in that casino, and just started playing there, but when they disconnect the phones and you get no reply from e-mail support , or chat that just looks very bad, what a sad time.

I don't think they will be back. The "technical issues" after an upgrade has to be BS after all this time. No-one could be that incompetent. Players have reported checks bouncing, no reply to support messages etc.

I'll definitely be keeping a closer eye on them now, as I have just finished listing them on several websites.

I received this e-mail from Nick Stein yesterday:

Just wanted to give you an update about what's going on here on RevenueJet –

"As you know, our brands are still experiencing a technical problem. While it is taking a long time to resolve this issue, things of this nature do happen and it's important to keep things in perspective. Anyway, I hope this week brings good news in regard to our brands.
What I would like to stress is that we're not going anywhere. I am positive that once the storm is behind us, we can start doing good business together."

I'm not sure what to think. I liked working with RevenueJet and had good results with them. Matt has assured me multiple times that they're not shutting down and I believe him. I don't see any reason for them to put up a front if they were really about to disappear. But even if they don't, I'm not sure they can recover from this.

As far as Nick saying to "keep things in perspective" - here's the response I sent to Matt, which sums up my own perspective.

"Thanks for the quick reply. Good to know you're not shutting down. I'm sure you understand the concern though. Anyone who has been around for a while knows the risks associated with promoting US sites and have watched seemingly stable programs vanish overnight.

The second part of the concern is credibility. In my opinion, most businesses would do whatever it takes to get its main source of revenue back operational, as quickly as possible. I work during the day managing a large group of ecommerce sites. When we've had servers go down for a few hours, people go into panic mode. We work long hours until it's fixed. When your casinos don't work for two weeks, players are going to be scared to play there, and affiliates are going to be scared to promote you.

I'm not trying to beat you up here. I know you're probably caught in the middle of all this trying to manage complaints the best you can. I just want to be honest with you about the concerns and objections I believe you're going to face with players and affiliates. Perhaps you can work with management to ensure this type of thing doesn't happen again.

I saw your post on GPWA about compensating affiliates for lost traffic and revenue. I think that's a wise decision if you want to move past this."

Are these guys on the site here or have they made an official statement?
Have they even said what the problem is?

They have replied over at GPWA

They are actually required to respond here... I'm going to have to have a chat with them - they get a post notification for every post here :( Very disappointing, IMO.

Hi Guys,

I received this email today. looks like great news!

---------------------------------------------------
Dear Rhonda,

We’d like to announce that Loco Panda is back up and ready for you to start playing again! To help you get back into the swing of things, we’re giving you $45 Free - no deposit necessary!

We’d also like to offer our deepest apologies for the recent downtime. It was simply a result of having too many players for our servers to handle.

Not to worry! We’ve increased our capabilities and you can see the return of our best service right now! So start playing and look out for even more coming soon!
